From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Yes. The blacked out roof line is a nice design detail. I have this detail on my current Lincoln. I am a fan.
Now the Traveler has the pattern on the headliner and solid fabric seats. What about a solid color headliner and plaid trim on the seats. That would be fun to see.

Agree 100%. I think SM would be surprised how many people would opt for that since it would be unique to Scouts
I don’t know why, but I sure do like the plaid headliner for some reason. It’s not even something I would normally think of as my style, but based on pictures I really dig it.
I just want plaid for sure somewhere. I really liked it on Colton’s seats on his vintage one he just showed pictures of. It was really pretty. So I would like to see both if possible.
It was cool. I could also see a lighter tone on tone plaid headliner as an option. I think it is different. It’s like the Union Jack accessories on Mini’s. Nothing amazing and kind of kitchey but that just makes it cooler-IMO
I was talking with my wife today about the plaid headliner and possible seats. She replied please don’t make me drive a vehicle with plaid seats. You can have the plaid headliner because with the glass roof there won’t be a lot of it. But. Please don’t ruin MY truck with plaid seats. It seems I have already lost the Traveler before its arrived. I hope an EV Scout 80 follows pretty quick.

I don’t know. That was an earlier buck model and if they already have a visual for white I’d be surprised if they’d duplicate that for here. Especially with so many members saying they want colors-not neutralsI'm gonna guess white for the Traveler.

I’m actually glad I saw the white. Reaffirms my decision that I want a color.
