Early wheel input: the turbine-ish wheels on the Traveler concept sketches were INCREDIBLEBoth concepts are getting repainted later this summer. Plus, we are working on teasing out a number of color, accessories, and wheel concept combinations. Should be fun. We will also try to get some of your input involved as well.

I do like the 20 inch rims on the concepts and the style of them but I would really like a 17 or 18 inch rim option to offer more sidewall for off-roading that you could maybe option with the 35 inch tires if possible. Both concepts are getting repainted later this summer. 18s are going to be an option but not 17s. I asked for 17s too and that was the response I got.I do like the 20 inch rims on the concepts and the style of them but I would really like a 17 or 18 inch rim option to offer more sidewall for off-roading that you could maybe option with the 35 inch tires if possible.
I like 18s that is what I have on my Jeep now with 35 inch tires18s are going to be an option but not 17s. I asked for 17s too and that was the response I got.
I have 17s with 33 on my Wrangler. I’m really thinking of just doing the 35s and then 18s will be great. I would just like to see a picture of a 35 inch wheel on an 18 tire. Hint, hint.I like 18s that is what I have on my Jeep now with 35 inch tires
Here is a few pics quick pics I got of mine to get an idea and let me know if you want the exact tire size.I have 17s with 33 on my Wrangler. I’m really thinking of just doing the 35s and then 18s will be great. I would just like to see a picture of a 35 inch wheel on an 18 tire. Hint, hint.
Though I forgot to mention, I have a 2 inch lift on mine so technically I could go bigger if I wanted but 35 is more than enough especially since I do a lot of highway driving I wouldn’t go past 35 unless you’re consistently off-roading.Here is a few pics quick pics I got of mine to get an idea and let me know if you want the exact tire size.
Beautiful Jeep. Love the wheels and tires. I didn’t want to lift because I have that MOPAR lifetime warranty they don’t sell anymore and I didn’t want to void the warranty. So I got Duratrac 285s with a 17 inch wheel. I had black wheels for 10 years and just switched to bronze 2 years ago. Here is a few pics quick pics I got of mine to get an idea and let me know if you want the exact tire size.
Honestly I never go off road. I just like the way it looks and being in Illinois I like never having to worry about potholes or crap conditions. So 35s are not necessary. I’m sure 33s are sufficient but I have wanted 35s forever!Though I forgot to mention, I have a 2 inch lift on mine so technically I could go bigger if I wanted but 35 is more than enough especially since I do a lot of highway driving I wouldn’t go past 35 unless you’re consistently off-roading.
Not to put a bullseye on your wallet, but 35s mean more sidewall to absorb all those potholes and bad road conditions!Honestly I never go off road. Nice Jeep too looks good. I like the bronze wheels. I think the black and bronze combo looks good. Also, the only reason my Jeep is lifted is because it came from the dealer like that it was a demo. So the whole lift kit and stuff was warranted, though my Jeep they never offered a lifetime warranty because I have the JL and by then I’m pretty sure Jeep figured out that they’re not gonna make money offering a lifetime warrantyBeautiful Jeep. Oh exactly. My 33s have saved me. I had a giant screw in my tire and went in at least expecting a repair. It was close to the sidewall so maybe even replace. Nope. Didn’t even get through the tread. They pulled it out and said you are good and I left. I want that peace of mind to continue so 33s at minimum. Not to put a bullseye on your wallet, but 35s mean more sidewall to absorb all those potholes and bad road conditions!
-someone on 35s and 17s in Baltimore.
If you want 35 you should be fine. You just have to make sure they clear. I think they do because I think 35s are the max you can put on without needing a lift.Honestly I never go off road.
