Scout Concepts going to IH Scout & Truck Nationals June 13-15, Springfield, Ohio

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

My YouTube channel is about my other hobby that has nothing to do with cars whatsoever (plastic is involved?) and I haven’t made any content for it in a while. Are you saying that you’d throw me a bone if I showed up to film editorial content? ?

Nothing wrong about getting the word out. Some of the best free advertising is home grown. Good luck.

Uh-yeah…….I uh, um, well I have a YouTube channel too. It’s about driving concept EV vehicles-I just started it and need some content. It’s called (it’s catchy)…” J Alynn drives EV’s”. Would love to stick my cell phone camera on the dash and film myself driving it….
For the fans OF COURSE ?
I’m also in contact with Jerry Seinfeld to do an EV cars and coffee vlog. Trying to get a network to pick that up. It will be a series about, well-Nothing…except EV concept test drives

Just kidding. It’s cool SM will support folks. Wasn’t disparaging anyone-just trying to con Jamie into letting me drive it ?

I saw Springfield and got super excited and then say Ohio instead of Illinois and boo. It’s about 4-1/2 hours from my house. I told my husband I would love to go but it’s a long drive because I know I’m just going to see the Scout and then be ready to leave. Ha! Come to Chicago or St. Louis. Much closer.

I don't want to drive it lol, it's probably 10 million dollars.

But I do want to show it to my subscribers, who trend a little older and set in their ways. Surprisingly open to my off grid camper and things like that when a case is laid out for them though lol.

It also gives me a convenient excuse to trek a little further south and buy rust free truck parts lol.

Okay, that's new...

Just for fun I put my home town and "Springfield Ohio" into Google Maps to see how long it would take to get there. I knew it would be too long, but why not check, right? Two different times came up: 13 hours and 4 hours. The 4 hours was for a flight. When did Google Maps start recommending flying?

And, for the record, I will wait for an event closer to New Hampshire.
