Scout Concepts going to IH Scout & Truck Nationals June 13-15, Springfield, Ohio

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

But we aren’t THOSE people!!!! Wink, wink-nudge, nudge! We are FORUM FAMILY ( aah-not a good example-crazy uncles). We are FORUM FRIENDS! (Aah-always one bad/dumb friend). We are
PENN STATE (aah-only a few of us, skip it)
We are SCOUT MOTORS FORUM CONNOISSEURS!!! We are like fine wine (Boon’s Farm) or the finest aged beef (jerky).
I digress and have grown bored with this pandering effort.
@cyure will you be bringing your schnauzer if you go?
We should see who may or may not be planning to go and plan a time to all meet up. Could be fun! Or could be like a bad example given above
Freddie is a typical Schnauzer. Not so excited to see new people and she was a COVID puppy so she didn't get out much as a baby. And yes FORUM FRIENDS! We will leave the family comments alone, from experience.

Some of the best people you meet in life are complete strangers on the internet using fake names and posting all kinds of nonsense during all hours of the day and night like they don’t have real jobs or family.

-What could go wrong they say?…..
-Exact things I tell my 20 year old daughter NOT to do
-Lifetime movie just waiting to be made.

FYI - my safety clearance/background checks are all up to date as of 1-1/2 months ago. I’m not the creepy one you need to worry about
Exactly! I am dating myself but I met my husband in 1988 at college, never online dated, never used Facebook, this is the only forum I have ever posted on. I hear the horror stories. I tell my kids never talk to strangers online, who knows who they could be, but hey all us Scout Forum members are awesome so we don't have those same worries, right? Right?!?

Just last summer i had to go through a Secret Service Background check, DHS background check, security clearance check for a Coast Guard event for a family member. Fun stuff lol. You sit on the edge of your seat waiting for a phone call saying you’ve been pinged for a whole bunch of crap. Luckily my record is clean. And i got a sweet DHS visitor escort required badge. And got a full DHS HQ and Coast Guard HQ tour.

Okay I am really thinking of driving out to this. So Bloomington, Illinois to Ohio. It’s about 4-1/2 hours each way. But legitimately I only care about seeing the prototypes. Any suggestions for things to do along the way if we decide to stay the night somewhere. 9 hours of driving in a day is doable. We have done it before. More in fact, but spending the night somewhere would be better. Any fun stops anyone can recommend? Quirky stops? Largest ball of twine? Biggest rocking chair? Ghost town? I’m up for suggestions.
I’m flying in to see the Scouts…I’m wondering if others here might like to meet over lunch or something.

I’d love to meet folks IRL. I’m hoping to be able to see details, etc. Flying in from Fargo.
