Loved Boston! Very sad about Brad D. - Tom S. would be a really interesting engineer to meet...Reminds me of the time a radio station played Boston's Foreplay, went to commercial, chatted with the listeners for a few, and then played Long Time

Talented!!!Ok I’ll play.
Led Zepplin’s Rock N Roll—with a wistful Scout style
It's been a long time since I Scouted the land
It's been a long time since I drove this brand
Ooh, let me get it back, let me get it back
Let me get it back, baby, where I come from
It's been a long time, been a long time
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time
Yes, it has
It's been a long time since I drove the Bear
I sure do miss all those cliffs and fear
Give me steep grades, give me shelf roads
Give me big rocks, baby, oh I love them so
Whoa, whoa, oh
It's been a long time, been a long time
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time
Oh, seems so long since we drove the Red Cone
Bargains with God and driving close to the bone
Oh yeah, grit your teeth, clench your bowels
Heave a big sigh, baby, be glad when it’s over
Yeah!
It's been a long time, been a long time
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Ooh yeah, ooh yeah
Ooh yeah, ooh yeah
It's been a long time, been a long time
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time
Fantastic choice. Really anything from them would be great. It’s a shame they don’t do CDs anymore because it would be cool for Scout to make a play list from all this nonsense and have a cool screen printed image on the music source and hand it to you if you do factory delivery. So far it’s an eclectic but cool playlist.Gotta be “send me on my way” by rusted root.
Preferably with visions of ice age animal migration in the AR heads up display…
They still make CDs. I have a CD of Taylor Swifts most recent album. Heck they make vinyls too.Fantastic choice. Really anything from them would be great. Cd is only good if Scouts have CD players and I’m guessing they won’t. Only a few cars still offer themThey still make CDs. I have a CD of Taylor Swifts most recent album. Heck they make vinyls too.
I vote we get a CD or even a playlist on Apple Music or Spotify that has all these songs in it.
Then how about digital file or playlist on a streaming service. That way those of us who aren’t picking up our Scouts yet can listen to the songs and dream.Cd is only good if Scouts have CD players and I’m guessing they won’t. Only a few cars still offer them
No-but we can add “Dream On” so you can enjoy when you eventually do get it. I think it’s a special item that costs VERY little and just offers a cool moments from the Scout factory deliveryThen how about digital file or playlist on a streaming service. So there is a limit of 8 media links. Here is number 9A lot of great songs listed in this thread, so I decided to list four I did not see already listed. Two from the 80s and two that are more recent
Totally rad man. I remember when Cracker and Counting Crows were on tour. I still listen to this stuff. So there is a limit of 8 media links. Here is number 9
Nice choice! My wife agrees on the first song being "Stickshifts and Safety Belts" by Cake, but states the 2nd song better be:
Johnny Cash and Radar love are on my list. Never got into the drop kick Murphy and not sure why but I get why you have them on your listA lot of great songs listed in this thread, so I decided to list four I did not see already listed. Two from the 80s and two that are more recent
Ok, one bonus link because this was actually the first song I thought of when reading these posts, but someone already mentioned it. Also the only song from 70s on my list of 4, I mean 5, songs
Edit, of course I thought of another one I did see anyone else list, pushing the dates all the way back to 19-double-nickels
And just cause, here is Commander Cody's 1972 version, which is probably more well known these days
Ok, no list is complete without a Johnny Cash song. I am sympathetic to this story
