I viewed the undercarriage camera Dre demonstrated at CES last January. That was great! I still wonder how we’ll keep it clean and undamaged.
However, I hope the camera system will have:
While parked:
‘Sentry Mode’ with cabin and external cameras 4K and sound with buffering while parked. Parked mode should last a week while at an airport parking garage. Radar, impact detection or motion detection have been implemented by several Dashcam companies successfully. ‘Night time ‘ HDR dark enhancement and 15 second buffering with choices of FPS or hybrid mode as on the current Viofo a329 T system now would be great! All accessed and stored via the cloud with real time notifications and connection to view and speak in real time. Tesla has some of these features!
While underway:
Telephoto forward with second forward wide angle view. Sound. 4 K image stabilization with HDR.
External side views, rear, bed for Terra. Hitch view all while underway.
Telephoto as well as wide angle view to the rear would be great underway. (No one has this but Telephoto is superior for detail and front license plates in States that have them. )
Interior multi angle views when stopped by, ahem, authorities and recorded to the cloud.
These are great for accidents, liability, but also sharing off roading or other things.
Buy a Viofo a329T system. Install it. Use it and make it even better. BlackVue has great cloud connectivity and fleet tracking, gps and mapping. I’m sure you have previous Rivian and Tesla engineers on the team.
