Taking bets on the new color of the Traveler Concept to be seen soon...

Alright, since we don’t know anything new, it’s clearly time to take bets on something we know nothing about.

What color do you think the new concept Traveler will have when it's shown for the first time?


I’d like to see a turquoise/aquamarine, but my bet is green.

So are we just talking Traveler or Terra too?

Everyone knows I’m dying to see a pale/butter yellow, but it doesn’t have near as many votes as some of the other colors in the color poll. Sigh.

Traveler, since green has a lot of votes I’m thinking green.

For the Terra, I would say it looks like an updated version of the Terra race truck like we saw in the Back to Baja documentary. Since the Traveler is already Tahitian Red and that’s similar to the current truck color, how about that tan color their first Terra was.

So my guesses are Green for the Traveler and Tan for the Terra. (But I can still wish and hope for butter yellow!)

I have the same though. is he saying "cruel" or "far off"? Not knowing makes this even more fun!

For the Traveler, I guess black or a very dark grey. For the Terra, I guess a shade of red.

Okay since I was “cold” I’m going with “cold” like a children’s game of hide and seek. So my tan and green are far away from what they are. So I’m going opposite.

Terra - Since I guessed tan (light color) I’m going opposite with glossy black or glossy dark grey. I’m saying glossy since its current color is flat. So the opposite finish of what it is.

Traveler - hmmm what’s the opposite of green? A pale color (again it’s too much to hope for pale yellow) so I’m going with white or a mushroom color.

Im not sure if the interiors are being changed. The Terra interior will go with a lot of colors. That clay Traveler color is more limiting I think with what exterior colors you would put on it.

Personally I'd like to see ~Elk-Buckskin-Siam Yellow, but likely too geriatric generic for revised concept.

Clearly the secret is real hardwood paneling on exterior of side doors.

I think Rallye stripes is a good guess.

I’m adding to this: Black paint with white Rallye Stripes, including the Combine you see on the Harvester fuel door.

Not sure how it would look, but if they want a different image - white roof, white grill. I know it is not as much of a Heritage thing as the Bronco with round headlights - but I did manage to pull images of a Scout II with that theme up.

I’ll go with your exact guess as I’m sure it won’t be pale yellow. But my curiosity is what is the interior color if exterior is green. In my mind the current interior is perfect for a dark green so if it’s changing-what is it? Beige? Dark brown? The hat has me very curious

I made same prediction a few weeks ago on the other thread. It just seems to make sense. And knowing SEMA isn’t that far off a Baja style Terra package makes sense in a desert tan tone. And unless green is just the perfect (in my mind) shade of green I’m not sure what color other than green for the Traveler though aqua marine would be sweet with a light gray and creamy white interior
