Scout Traveler SUV Green Off-Road Concept

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

This concept features a retro-inspired green color, 18” concept wheels, concept accessory running boards, roof rack, and different front and rear bumpers. Plus the front bumper shows a concept bull bar and winch design. These explorations give a preview of some of the things our teams have been working on. No guarantee that all will be produced, but we’d love to hear your feedback.

It’s stuff like this that makes my wallet cry.

You know I'm a fan of the color :)

First of all I love it even if it isn’t yellow.

Second, I hope everyone gets what they want.

Front bumper with the brush guard. Totally want that but don’t need a winch. To delete that I would want it to be solid not with a hole where a winch should be.

For those people who either have to or choose to have a front license plate where is going to go on that bumper? It doesn’t look like there’s room under the winch.

I much prefer this rear bumper over the original design. The other is black/grey/black. So black either side. Grey in the middle. I prefer this one with the grey on the bottom half/skid plate and the black on the top half. It looks like there’s a spot for the license plate under the tire carrier. It has to go somewhere and that’s as good as any.

I like the concept better without the roof rack. I don’t want to worry about being to tall so I am not planning on getting it. Additionally I did not get a light bar on my Wrangler because they can whistle. It would be nice if they could release audio of what the wind sounds like going through that roof rack.

Those running board are perfect. I don’t want big “truck” side steps.

Those wheels are beautiful. I would build it with 18s. These look like what I would go to a shop and buy aftermarket not just something that came stock from a dealer. I would love to see a matte bronze wheel.

I would love to see it with some A pillar lights.

All this to say the SM team has knocked if out of the park again!

My only issue with it is it isn’t in my driveway.
