Scout Traveler Debuts in New Pacific Mist Color

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
So what are people thinking about using these switches for in their new Scouts?

Wondering how static the options for these switches will be. Since they are all hooked to the brain of the scout I would honestly prefer my diff locker 4x4 controls be lower down and have aux lights/air compressor assigned to the upfitter switches. Will owners be able to customize the settings that much themselves?
Question - for anyone who’s been lucky enough to see this in person will these be simple on/off or are they on1/off/on2 with the ability to toggle up and down with off in the middle? Essentially making your 4 switches with 8 options. Think LED light bar assigned to the switch with on 1 (up) programmed for white and on 2 (down) programmed for amber.
Either way the first person to come out with a pack of good matching stickers to label these missiles, smoke, ejection seat, etc will have an order out in from me!

I would love to see that fabric with the clay colored leather that was in the original Traveler concept.
Yes that one from the original press kit was a good color. Not to orange. Not to red. Is this the one you are thinking about?

Really like the fabrics, leather looks very orange to me? Maybe it’s just the lighting…
It is more of a reddish terracotta. The pics make it look a bit more orange than reality. To me it’s a great color. Darker than a terracotta or saddle but not as bold as a true red interior. I think if you like either of these color tones you’ll love the interior in person

Agree on stickers as well as I joked the other day. As for toggles for the 90-ish seconds I got to sit in it at NYC I didn’t touch a damn thing 🤣. My wife couldn’t even get a good pic of me sitting in the seat because I was all over the place taking pics

No. Sorry. It’s what I call it. Original was referred to as clay (which I thought it was lighter-but just me). The new is something like brown brick red-somebody here listed it but I’m blanking on name
Yeah the new interior is Brown Brick Red. I don’t recall the interior name of the og concepts but it does have a clayish color to it if you mixed yellow with a piece of orange and gray.

These panels are a pain the keep clean. The construction of the production parts will be completely different. These scuff marks are actually skin that rubs off every time you touch it. I am constantly trying to keep these areas clean. These panels with the graining we put on them is like a nail file. Its like sandpaper. Rubs the skin right off you.

But yes. Production you will not see this.
Ow! That hurts just thinking about it.

Agree with swapping the diff lock, etc to the lower position. I’d been thinking that myself.
