Scout Traveler Debuts in New Pacific Mist Color

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
As promised, here is the first new color, Pacific Mist, on the Traveler and the first part of the retheme. A few of the details include new Pacific Mist paint in a shade of blue. The original reveal wheels are now black, matching well with the new black roof and black door handles. Also new are concept multi-function roof rails, giving a hint at future roof-mounted accessories.

The design team decided to push the envelope with an interior finished in a Terracotta leather and "denim-inspired" fabric. In person, it looks good with this exterior color. I'll snap some more pictures here in New York and post them later.

I am LOVING the new Pacific Mist Blue!!! I could do without all of the black bits and to keep wheels with a bit of silver on them for a more traditional look. But this is exactly the sort of color I was hoping for on my Traveler Harvester! I intend on doing the cream Cabana Top on mine...and I'm hoping that the roof-perimeter will be offered in a matching cream for that old-school white-roof look! While I'm hoping for a creamy (or navy w/ cream) interior...this terra cotta and denim look is awesome! Oh, and the low-profile roof rails look cool! Thanks for sharing this beautiful new color!!! I can't wait to spec and order mine!

They are doing such a great job on these concepts. It’s not my color yet, but I still appreciate how beautiful it is.

The wheel is the same wheel that was on the original concept Traveler, just all black.

I’m hoping we get a visualizer someday that allows us to play with different wheels on each individual wheel. So you could look at a side view and put one wheel on the front and a different one on the back to compare. That would be fun.

I like the original wheel better. Even better if they make the black bits the same Brushed Bronze, or whatever they are calling that color.

Instead of making the silver parts silver, I’d like to see those parts in the color on the body, i.e. Pacific Mist, Silo, Tahitian Red, etc.

I would like to see one with the silver parts and middle black and the spokes bronze.
Just to be clear when I said "black bits the same Brushed Bronze" I was referring only to the wheel colors. All Brushed Bronze wheel. It seems you would like the original wheel with the two colors swapped.

Sort of. I want the middle to stay black. Then the other colors swapped. And I see that color as silver not bronze. So make it bronze.

If they offer a blue and cream interior for Pacific Mist I’d jump back to that color for sure
