From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

I've always had it in my mind that it would be here in 2028, so I'm not sure if this changes my expectation.
I think November of 2022. So, based on this current conjecture, a Traveler BEV "Electrall" will be out in 2030. For my preferred spec, I think I am correct.
I think I might be misunderstanding you. The Scout was announced in 2024, right?
Part of the problem is we don’t know what we done know and that’s what gives us all even more angst!
Scout Brand relaunched in 2022. New Scout debuted in October 2024. I see my misunderstanding now.

I am not being snarky. i think it was Thanksgiving break of 2022 that I joined. i honestly do not think I will see the Scout I want until 2030. Hopefully that is wrong and it will be sooner. fingers crossed.
The word prioritize does not overly worry me. It does not necessarily mean that production will be exclusively Traveler EREV - and it does make sense that more effort will go into EREV production given that they currently represent 87% of reservations. Likewise, currently the Traveler has 2x the reservations of the Terra.
If I really want to dissect the meaning of the word, it could even simply mean more effort - which is honestly necessary as the EREV is more complicated.

Since the BEV started development years prior to the EREV I wonder if the priority is because the EREV is behind in development and needs to catch up so to speak.
I was just coming here to post something similar. The Press Release from October 24, 2024 states, "Initial production targeted to start in 2027 based on current projections and is subject to change. The anticipated production date is an estimate and may be affected by various factors. Actual availability may differ."
I also seem to recall reading something about the time I made my reservation that the estimated delivery would be late 2027 into 2028. I will see if I can track down where I read that. Therefore, I never expected to receive my Scout before 2028.
It was always known that the bulk of the deliveries would start in 2028 and any in 2027 would be limited.

So you really think the Terra BEV will be 2030? I’d guess mid 2029 at the absolute latest
I say ‘27 but in my head I think “Santa will leave it under the Christmas tree in ‘27. So basically ‘28 but I have to stay positive
