Scout Concepts in Cambridge, MA, October 16-18, 2026

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Here are some pics of Terra. No access to stage and muddy today so limited pics. I’ll post mountainside info later when we aren’t just doing a 10 minute break

I hope Scout has some peons ready to lie down in the mud later when moving the vehicles from stage to trailer.

I know, I see some rain spray on the corner of one in @J Alynn 's pictures. The way you guys have talked about the staff, I expected to see one holding their rain jacket out to keep the vehicles dry. :ROFLMAO:
Oh I would expect the same from them. I have never seen a speck of dirt on them. Not one speck!

We didn’t get to see the actual move onto stage and was too dark but they literally screw layer after layer of plywood “steps” (like a topographical map) to build a ramp. It couldn’t have been easy because just beyond the ramp was a drop off to a gravel path about 5’ wide the weeded bank directly into the Charles River so I’m sure it took some effort. They told me the this morning the worst part was cleaning the tires after they got it on the veneer plywood stage.

Funny story about that. Apparently a ton of rain last week at the whitewater event and they had to put “rain coats” on the vehicle. They were actively wiping them down this morning while I was taking pics. It takes so much effort on their part. They all deserve a huge round of applause, or at least a golf clap 👏

I’ll get more photos on later tonight and again tomorrow. The new tidbit of news is the liner. It’s not locked in (standard answer of “everything is always subject to change and not finalized”) and that is 100% fair. The liner is textured so that pet hair won’t stick to it and the texture helps make cleaning easier. scout is definitely listening and trying to think through a lot of common details most miss. First I heard of this and appreciated the insight.

Incredible! Looks like a carbon fiber weave almost. Oddly enough, the dog's hair comes out of my carpets well enough, but my wife's hair is insidious. 3M should patent it and run Velcro out of business.

And before I get too far along. HUGE thank you to the whole Scout, Blue Moon and the team (forget name of company) that employs Kevin who I’ve seen at many of these and while he doesn’t work directly for Scout he is top notch and is the perfect ambassador for Scout. Another HUUUGE shoutout to Agent K. She chatted with us for nearly a 1/2 hour today, and to think she plays PR and can snap a neck (kidding-maybe 😉) she too is a perfect example of Scout ethos. She’s knowledgeable and patient and has a ton of responsibility that many will never understand. Even last night with our small group she graciously spoke with us, opened the vehicle and all around made herself indispensable and had ZERO obligation to do any-especially last night. If it wasn’t a public park space we would essentially have been trespassing. At one point Regatta security even questioned us as a group and the Scout team said “they’re with us”. Total respect and again
THANK-YOU all for the continued courtesy and support of our forum family
