Hi ya’ll. I was just introduced to the Scout and at first look I’m blown away! But that’s just it, I’ve only seen the outside. Before I plunk down a down payment, I want to know more about this beautiful beast, what options are available and so on. Is there a site that explains/shows options, performance, technology, etc? TIA

Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Welcome to the community! You are in the right place to get information but you are a little early yet for some of it.
You wouldn’t be plunking down a down payment. It’s a $100 reservation. At some point down the line we will be converting our reservations to orders but that’s a ways away. The information we have is that production will begin end of 2027.
There’s 2-1/2 years of info on the forum. There’s pictures of the interior posted in various threads. The search function is very helpful.
Additionally there are quite a few videos on YouTube. If you search for Scout Motors you will find the reveal from October 2024. They were at CES in Vegas in January and there are videos from that event. Jay Leno did an episode of Jay Lenos Garage and you can see the interior there. There is a video from the CEO about winter testing.
All that to say we do not have final specs yet. The factory is still being built. @Jamie@ScoutMotors is a great follow and he keeps us advised of what’s going on from the manufacturer standpoint. In fact he just confirmed the other day they will be going to the LA auto show so you are in luck there.

I agree with others. A great place to start would be checking out the "Suggestion Box" threads.
People share ideas there that they want Scout to implement, and more often than not other people will reply with what has already been announced and how likely the ideas can tie into what we already know.
