Hmm, we really don't like people very much, so I don't think appealing to the fiscally conservative side of her would work that well in this case.

Otherwise, you guys aren't thinking big enough. I'm not sure a 4,000sf+ living space above is really an "apartment". Maybe she needs pictures. I should just design the garage/house/thing on the side and show her pretty pictures instead.

I do appreciate the track villa ideas though, they're just a bit small. I usually have at least one car that's good for track use at any given time.

I just like the concept of a showroom garage / workshop as part of the family room I don't think my wife would approve, even though her dad was a race car driver.
