How would you build your Scout?

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
That’s a good looking car. One of those I like but at 6’8” could never stuff myself into.

Other than the Dodge Challenger we had for a while, I’ve never found a sports car/muscle car I could fit in comfortably. I just might be destined to be a truck/large suv guy.
I have always heard the new Corvettes work for tall people but don’t know about 6’8”. I saw an article the other day Shaq got a custom built one so he could fit.

Im going to get a scout... But these are city slickers. The vehicles have a lot of nonsense... Lala land crap . That will only jack up the price. . .. cool dudes. Farmers don't care about cool bs. Offroading is a fun word to some.. a reality of daily life to others. I can tell by the tattoo arm designer and the beardo... Not farmers. Not threading the needle. This beautiful.. nonsense... Is not a family farmers dream. Corporate farmers hogwash. Family farming dies.. colors are a 14 year olds market. Wow.. green. Pay $$$ for green. Show us a family farm starter truck. Not grifting. Now days you pay to have options.. pay to say no.. don't give me that bs. I have to pay to say no to options because options are lies. I'm forced to play the game. 🎮

How many chicken tractors does Joel Salatin need. How many eggs how many diesel fuel ⛽ he runs in that tractor each day. These truck manufacturers want to suck the life out of the little guy.. lol.. beardos and tattoo city slickers.

A man can't farm by the sweat of his brow. Lol.. a $50k farm truck

Dude-are you high? What is all this gibberish? Do you drunk-forum instead of drunk texting? This makes absolutely NO sense!

Farm truck in need..

I'm drinking a fine pilsner.. ok

City's are formed around vehicle not people. Walkers struggle to get 5 blocks, around interstates. 10 fast food shops between his apartment and the grocery store. Morbidly obesity source. A long walk for a city slickers.

Only a good truck can save the country. The truck is the key 🗝️.

Can a Terra truck bed handle a cord of wood? 4x4x8?

Name call me all you want. I know what emperical vs anecdotal is. How is a country boy going to warm his shack if he can't afford a truck to support the cheapest source of heat?

128 cubic feet. It's unpatriotic not to hold a cord.

128 cubic feet. City boy.

The whole truck idea is rigged against the little guy. Which is ironic because the manufacturers spout the opposite. For city slicker money.

The number 128 cubic feet is also the exact volume of a cord of wood when it is tightly stacked. This makes it a realistic and specific measurement for a truck manufactured for tasks like hauling firewood. For example, a truck and trailer combination could be designed to hold exactly two cords of wood.

Maybe scout motors will sell an overpriced trailer along with the toolbox option? Forever dodging and punishing the little guys wood hauling. He pays.

Pick up truck. Pick up what? The cheapest form of heat energy resource.
