February 2026 Scout Production Center Update

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Here’s some pictures my husband took at Nats last year. Also if someone needs more width in the front we have the bench option and not having that drivetrain bump makes it feel much roomier as well.

Yep leg room is definitely going to be class leading from the looks of it, and can we also talk about the the size of the bottom of the rear seat. Looks like it could be quite the plushy ride back there lol!

Do you have any photos from the rear showing the load floor height by any chance?

Can't wait for the bench seat!

I hadn't noticed the lighting around the sunroof perimeter before. Was that just for display purposes, or was that actually part of the truck??
Regarding the sunroof lighting. It looks really good but I dont see that making it to production. I feel like there would be too much light reflection on the glass at night and could be distracting at times.

I couldn't tell if it was just something rigged up to provide better lighting for the prototypes, or if it was supposed to be part of the vehicle.

Here’s a couple from Chicago and a couple from Nats. I’m 5’7” for reference. I can only imagine what people thought at Nats as I was running around standing next to the Scout doing crazy things. Ha! Looked like Vanah White!

Thanks Cyure!

Ok so there is quite a bit of height to the load floor but the drop tail gate should help to support ramps or accessories if there are any height challenges that come up. But even better than that it looks like there is no step in the load floor like the current LC has, so thats great to see IMO.

I'm gonna need you to put this shirt back on, get in this same pose and take a measurement from the floor to the bottom of the t-shirt on your right hip to give us an approximate trunk floor height. :ROFLMAO:

Great factory update Jaime, and its so awesome to see the training center is nearly ready!

But I got to say the stepped rear floor of this Traveler is quite interesting looking. One concern I have immediately is the height of the load floor, (much like the new land cruiser hybrid pictured below) and how much cargo space will be sacrificed.

The drawing is clearly a "body in white" level of completion so it looks like whether its Harvester or BEV the structure could be the same. Therefore, unless its an optical illusion there is one heck of a difference in height with the floor section.

I wouldn't read anything into this. The 3D CAD image is part of a video that is a year old now and they just wanted a placeholder Traveler body to use. Let's see where the production version ends up.

Ha! It was freezing when we were in Chicago. No way was I taking that jacket off. 😹

I don’t know if you saw my original threads I created for those two events. If you search Cyure as the title I have a Cyure goes to Nats thread and a Cyure goes to Chicago thread. My husband took 1100 pictures total at those two events. I posted tons in those 2 threads.

And hey any events SM wants to send me to I’ll wear that shirt or that jacket depending on the weather and I can keep getting reference shots for the forum. Just saying SM, my husband and I are available for any and all events! 🥰

It’s not letting me reply to your post J. Just want to point out that picture the bottom portion of the split tailgate is closed. It’s not really that high when both pieces are open.

Yeah. Not sure it makes it to production but there are grooves in floor for tie downs and it extends to tailgate and they had cushions in the prototype that slide out onto the tailgate. Cool feature
