From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. I think the discount is like .50/gal so you need to be buying like 20 gallons to equal the carwash price (nEVer a problem in my truck) - can't wait for the Scout!!!
One of my friends parents traveled 9 hours just to go one, then complain it was too crowded. The one they went to was 2 hours from here, and when I go visit family Itās my preferred charging station, they have the nice Mercedes Chage point DCFCs and theyāre usually a little cheaper than the EA at Walmart. I will say as a gas station/store I find them overrated and very crowded, but being able to get hot food while charging is nice
There are always a few on our way to anywhere in Texas.
May sound weird but I stop for the bathrooms. They are always clean and there are close to 50 stalls so you never wait long, if at all.
When you have a family of 6 this can be the difference between a 10 minute stop and a 45 minute stop.
Would love it if they offered showers at all of their locations like the Truck Stops.
Theyāre opening one in our town sometime soon. Iāve already decided Iām not driving that direction on the highway for a few months after it opens. Theyāre predicting backups down the ramp onto the highway so Iāll take the backroads if I have to go west
Oh for goodness sake. Itās like when an In and Out opens in town.
We had one open here in town just before Christmas. I kept having to find new routes around because it was an hour plus delay.
We still havenāt been able to go, theyāre overcrowded, and still have traffic guides by the road, who for some reason tried to direct me in as if the building owned the left lane of the road
Okay when you do go they have a āsecret menuā.
Neapolitan shake - all three flavors mixed together.
Protein style - no bun
Animal style burger - grilled onions and patty cooked in mustard.
Animal style fries - onions and sauce on the fries.
You can get bigger burgers. 3x3 or 4x4. So extra meat and cheese. That would be a lot.
Oh and I always ask to get the fries well done. They are too soggy if you donāt.
Oh I just found out today thereās something called a Flying Dutchman. I have no idea what the is.

Now that we've entered the unhealthy snack/food portion, I'll chime in. I love Munchkins on road trips. Conveniently in a 50-count box, and with a mix of blueberry and chocolate, you never know what you'll grab.
