From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. He did a great job. I saw others post here and on various Scout social media groups, he's in the background waiting patiently to capture the right photos. You are the modern day Truck Nationals Bonnie and Clyde, you're the smooth narrator while he shoots (images). One yaps while the other snaps! Great job!
I just read this to him and he laughed and said that’s us to a T! He will do just about anything to get the right shot. This is him years ago at Disneyland trying to get just the right picture of Haunted Mansion right before the Disney cast member told him to get out of the bushes.

Daycare center-BAD!
Good morning. I can’t believe it’s been a week already! I will say again, when you get a chance to see them in person, go. Even if you are thinking to yourself, that’s a long drive and I can’t sit in them, just go. You don’t need to sit in them. You need to see them. I can’t wait to see them again.
The view when you walk up on them. The Terra blue is gorgeous. And the angle of the Traveler in this picture you can see why the color is called Tahitian Red.

. They truly are a special vehicle and I concur @cyure that until you see them in person you can’t truly appreciate them in their entirety. Great shots by the way
A also never realized the front skid plate design is subtly different between the two of them. As is the subtle design cues on the plastic end portions of the bumpers. Very cool
They had food trucks there and it’s not an event unless you have a shaken lemonade.
My husband takes closeups of all kinds of things I don’t even notice in the moment.
The SM staff was passing out stickers and the t-shirt stand also has stickers. My Stanley cup is going to be out of room soon.

I’m so glad it wasn’t this hot last weekend! It was 92 here today in good old Illinois and so humid. How about some pictures of the seats.
Couple observations. The ventilation pattern is different between the two and the top third is also a different material. Smooth in the Terra and kinda like a tweed pattern on the Traveler. That’s the only way I can think to describe it.
