Wouldn’t leave. Just depends on how things play out. If daughter indeed moves home for a while after college next year then she and I may share a scout and the Honda if both pan out. Lot of scenarios in my head right nowYou can’t leave us J!

Scout Says New Report Claiming Four Year Production Delay Is Wrong — AutoGuide.com
Off-road and outdoorsy offerings are all the rage in the automotive world these days, and that makes it even harder to swallow the news that Scout Motors is apparently having difficulty hitting its production targets for the upcoming Traveler SUV and Terra pickup .apple.news
Thinking about that quote, I can’t help but think about the R2. So they said Spring of 2026, well I read an article a bit ago that employees are getting them in April and consumer deliveries are this summer.
Considering is doing a lot of work here. This means nothing until we see a concept and a plan.Well this is sure to please all the trolls on this forum.

GM Considering Bringing GMC Jimmy Back As a Toyota 4Runner Competitor, Report Claims — Road & Track
Would you be interested in a body-on-frame off-road SUV from the General?apple.news
You probably won’t get one either, at least one that makes sense.I reached out directly to the editor that printed the production timeline on AutoForecast Solutions, asking for comment and whether his reporting was based on supplier data or simply aggregating media speculation. No response....yet
Ive been in the long haul since the launch of the return in 2022. Im just looking for more transparency. Which i thought we were getting, when they updated their email system. But seems thats false.
They have let “civilians” sit in the concepts, but you don’t seem to understand these are the equivalent of muti-million dollar art projects, you don’t pay to visit a museum and expect to touch or interact with every piece on display. These are one of a kind and cost too much to just build a fleet of, not to mention how impractical that would be given they’re not a final design.I will belive the 2028 delivery when they let e lowly civilian sit in their precious concept truck....

Where are the retail centers? On top of the aforementioned fact that these concept vehicles are fragile and not designed for people to climb in and out of regularly (meaning thousands of people at events), they are also close approximations of final dimensions. The seats are fixed and not adjustable on the concepts as well.
Sorry, you will have to wait for early production vehicles before you can really make a good determination that the vehicle will fit you. Good news is that there will be early production vehicles out touring and at our retail locations that people can sit in, slam doors, move the seats, adjust the seat height and rake, adjust the rear view and side mirrors and overall figure out if it all works for you. If we could magically make it happen sooner, we would love to.![]()
Thanks for the clarification Unc! Nice to hear that we will be getting more later in the yearI don't know too many manufacturers directly talking to their customers like we do here. That's about as transparent as it gets.
We are not going to send an email every time a publication posts a rumor about Scout. These websites out there have told us directly anything they write about Scout gets them traffic. So even the littlest rumor gets traction.
If there are any delays, we obviously want to give concrete information - not another best guess that leads to another delay. There are some major milestones happening later this year with validation builds and factory targets. We will know more closely when each model will specifically launch as we get closer.

You mean Scout Motors actually expects reservation holders to be reasonable & thoughtful humanoids? On top of the aforementioned fact that these concept vehicles are fragile and not designed for people to climb in and out of regularly (meaning thousands of people at events), they are also close approximations of final dimensions.
