F1

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Yah. These circuits with far less braking are going to require harvesting strategies to change.
I think Lewis will get a podium with another real battle between the Mercs.
I saw something briefly that they were changing a rule to make the charging less cumbersome somehow.

That and Max made a reporter leave before he would continue answering questions. 😹

Max isn't winning so Max will be bitchy.
They changed charging rules and are allowing reduced downforce through the already super fast 130R corner.

These changes seem to be causing a lot of questions for someone like me who is just dabbling into F1
It’s all new this year so I have tons of questions too. I can tell you all about the drivers. For example,
Charles got married right before the season and his dog is named Leo. And Carlos cut his hair! And all the F1 girls are not happy! But I’m still learning about the cars. For example, the FIA just said that the Mercedes wing is legal. 😹

Ask away, I'll answer if I can.
BTW, do you have an LG TVF?
I bought a couple of them while Costco had a ridiculous sale.
The LG Channel has F1TV on there for free
I'll know in 45 minutes if it includes showing races...

I have an Apple TV and pay for Apple One and it’s included there. I was paying for the F1TV subscription but now I don’t have to pay for that now.

Time for FP2
Still running more than 4" slower than last year, but it's early.
LEC is drifting... And fastest at the moment.
Surprised they haven't broken 1'30"

Has anyone else seen this? While not F1 (didn’t know where to post it, didn’t want to start a new thread), this Formula E video gets me wondering how flywheel technology could be adapted to extending range in the everyday, mundane, EV’s we drive.
