From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. That’s exciting!! Can’t wait for that. Can I assume your booth will have the concept vehicles? Or will it just be an informational booth?
Why not this year? You guys need to let depositors see the Vehicles up close, not just in the areas you’ll have been showing it. I’m from Louisiana and would travel if I knew I could have a hour or two to really look at it up close and get answers. Your marketing plan nneds some common sense to selling the product Now to keep depositors in the loop. Just saying SEMA WOULD WORK
Did you miss the date on that post that said not this year?
It was from 2024, 2 years ago. Not sure if they plan to attend this year, but they have an event in NC later this month. Too far away for you?
This is @Jamie@ScoutMotors post from earlier this year. Looks like it’s not going to happen with these concepts.
The NC event looks like tons of fun. I would totally be there if we hadn’t just driven to the SC event. Only having 3 concept vehicles we are more likely to have to drive a distance to them than them coming to us.

I’m in Louisiana, don’t want to fly to view for 1-2 hours not having time to view all with being not given the time or privilege to view slowly. I thought SEMA would be a Great place for both Models to get Great viewing and probably a lot more following.
Hi! They may not be coming to SEMA this year but we tend to not know where they will be going until fairly close to the event.
The best thing to do is keep an eye on the events page and this forum. For example, last December they announced a Chicago event with only a couple days notice so my husband and I were able to drive the 2 hours to see the Traveler.
I just keep saying faith and patience, even though it’s really hard some days. I just pass the time on here and go see them when I can make it work.
Jamie (Scout) has said that they will attend SEMA but not until they have production models. That will serve multiple purposes. Vendors that may want to make accessories for Scouts will be able to look at production vehicles to see if/how their stuff can mount. The units won't be as delicate so they can handle a huge show like SEMA without being damaged. And finally, getting people all fired up right now when they are still over a year from deliveries just invites frustration.
