New Scout Traveler Concept Added - Mountainside Theme

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
I assumed it was the PITA folks. But after consuming a delicious smash burger what does one do with the cow hide?

Happy Friday. Anyone craving a burger or is it just me?

What is it with you guys making me hungry today?? I make a pretty good smash burger, but it's 98-degrees and humid out. Thankfully, we've got a great little place in town that makes a darn good burger too. I've already informed the wife what the dinner plans are.

Hhmmmm! Truffles and caviar sound really good with scallops and lobster side cars and some A5 Waygu. Thank you and you are welcome

Welcome to the community! You are not in the minority at all. Lots of us want a 17” wheel, but it’s been stated by Scout that the smallest will be an 18”. As I understand it, it has to do with the size of the brakes that are necessary.

We are expecting a 33” and 35” tire as options for our Scouts, that’s what’s been stated to date. On the concepts we have seen an 18”‘wheel, 20” inch wheel and a 22” wheel. The Travelers all have had 35s just different tires on the different iterations. The Terra had 35s and now 37s, but it’s been stated by SM that 37s won’t be a factory option.

I am tire carrier all the way! I love it.

Welcome to the community! Have fun, there’s tons and tons in here to keep you busy for days!

Don't get me wrong, all of the concepts have looked amazing, and I am super excited to see one in person and purchase one. Buuuuuuut, does anyone else feel like the colors have been beautiful, but a bit...tame? I would love to some wilder, or brighter colors for us bolder colored vehicle
folk. What say you @Jamie@ScoutMotors !?

I like that quite a bit. Turquoise/seafoam is what I wanted before I saw the concepts. Now, I am more open to seeing other colors as I think the team is doing a great job (other than the matte gray wrap on the Trail Ready). But, this color looks great and I hope they do something similar.

Maybe I'm not tracking here, but why wouldn't you be able to access the rear cargo area while the vehicle is charging?
The swing-out gate will be too long to open when the vehicle is backed up to the charging station. With most posts in a pull-in or back-in configuration (as opposed to pull-through or pull-aside), it's difficult to open even a tailgate on a pickup, much less a swing gate.

That’s what I was hoping Pacific Mist would be.

Welcome. Due to the brakes necessary for the heavier vehicles 18” will be the minimums but plenty of tire options I’m sure

I see these and I’m like-yeah, super cool but I worry 6 months later I might be bored with the color. That’s my struggle. To date I like all the colors-A-LOT but for the colored versions I haven’t found my WOW color. I do love the original Tahitian with the ghost stripes but suspect that will be the number one color-you never forget your first true love. I’m still hoping for pale yellow since that was my original and first request early on, when forum started and I like some of the AI versions. I liked the gold earlier today but that’s more of a neutral than a color. Any who, hope each of us find our WOW color!

PAC Mist is the color I wanted, when in the shade but when it goes silvery, I don’t care for it as much, though the ladies in the house love it
