My son is an Eagle Scout as well. I said the same thing a while ago, but it can be kinda controversial. I think it’s a great idea myself, but we had a great Scouting experience.

When I hear Eagle, this is front and center in my brain. Please don't use Eagle.

Agreed (Eagle Scout here as well).
When I mentioned this in the past, I also think its an obvious tie in. But I'm not sure the legal teams for BSA and Scout would see it the same way.
I think it’s worth doing a search because as @cyure me ruined it became very controversial
We had a very negative scouting experience and would be hesitant to purchase a vehicle with such a naming scheme or if there was a licensing agreement between Scout Motors and that organization; we won’t spend money supporting it.

I... actually wasn't a fan of the organization of Scouting. I didn't have any bad experiences, I personally hated the red tape/bureaucracy. I loved learning the outdoor skills/other stuff, and my friends/leaders. It was just the actual badges/etc were a net-detractor, rather than an incentive.
And despite being an Eagle scout myself, I'm not having my kids go through Scouting. And while I also mentor a youth group (15-18yr old boys), we are not scout affiliated either. So I totally get your position.
I know through reporting/etc that there were bad groups out there for sure, which is a bummer.
Looking at that list of held trademarks and seeing all the [thing]Star-type trademark names, what about using stars and just staying away from land/landmass/scout/earth names to designate a trim? Look to the sky, I don’t know. When I was looking at the Scout Spirit of 76 gear, I noticed that there are five stars on the T-shirts. Five stars might have just been a design choice, but five stars is also usually associated with the highest possible rating you can give something. Why not work with that? In the Michelin rating system, one star is pretty damn fantastic. Getting one star is a huge achievement. One star can still have quite a bit and it can be made clear that one star means a lot of excellence. Two stars is even more excellence, three is incrementally more, etc. etc. etc. It is a thought.
So are you thinking literal stars like ratings or constellations that have increasing star counts to make them “more valuable”?

I’ve suggested this previously. People who aren’t already Eagle Scouts like us are hesitant to associate with the group.

Not sure if this has been said, but maybe they could borrow some of the old Harvester Tractor brand names for the trim levels, as a further nod to the Harvester legacy. Not sure if there would be trademark issues, but a few would work really well:
- Cub (base model)
- Fairway and/or Electrall (for middle models)
- Titan and/or Mogul (for highest models)
- International (break out the beloved "international" name for fully off-road models)

@LastDayScout has mentioned Electrall for the BEV Scouts and I think that’s a great idea for that. So the Harvester for the EREV and Electrall for the BEV. Our BEVs need a name and a logo just like the Harvester gets.
100% Agree - Even if that Electrall design is just slightly altered from the Harvester design - like something just different enough that outsiders may not see the differences, but would be fun for those in the know (also, a great opportunity to have hoodies/hats/etc. with either the Electrall or Harvester design on it... just saying!)

Only downfall is the BEVs won’t have the large gas cap cover so tougher to find a spot. And the flip lid over the plug in/port area is pretty skinny.
