A Gift From Scout Motors

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
What frame did you go with?
Is a weathered wood 24x36 from Michael’s. Popped in because sale on frames and ironically it is the same one I used to frame to pieces of art for my wife at Xmas so I saw it, knew I already liked it. I wanted a simple black frame but wall in my work office is dark blue (corporate color) so the weathered would will look good against that and adds the touch of vintage that I liken back to original Scouts

I was going to repurpose a nice custom mahogany frame but dimensions weren’t quite right and I hate cutting mattes which I would have needed to do because I’m frugal. I know how and have matte cutters-just hate doing it. This frame was like $24 on sale and was quick and easy. Wasn’t worth me spending money on custom frames and matte cutting-saving that $$ for the Scout

Gold Rustoleum, gold leaf or solid 24k gold?

Trying to decide if I need to start sucking up more... :ROFLMAO:
Paint bombing an old frame with gold paint would work. That would look good in my office but the frame matches some at home so if I ever leave job or decide I want it hung at home I know it will look good

Not so much a gift but merch-I think scout should get cell phone cases made with simple script font in soft gray or orange and cases should be available in the final exterior colors
Or how about a collab with this company. They make phone cases and pocket knives and they are wood and resin. They make all different colors. And they do patterns on the wood. They could do the Scout logo in the wood and resin for the color. And they are based in Indiana.

I got mine this Friday!! Haven’t opened yet. Also does anyone know the dimensions of the poster? Planning on getting a frame.View attachment 14253
Almost 24 x 36. I took mine to Michael’s to be framed. I should have it back next week. I can’t wait! They are going to vacuum seal it and dry mount it to help get the folds out. I’ll post it when I pick it up next week.

By the names, I’m afraid this is a wayfair furniture type ordeal. Are they selling girls? Is this a human trafficking thing for Ep?

They should work with: https://www.bodyguardz.com/

My case has been dropped 20 times from 2 feet and higher. And my case doesn’t have a mark from it. And if it was to, they offer what they call the advantage program. You send it in and they send a direct replacement for free.

Uh no it is not. They post videos of how they make their cases, knives and now wall art. I get a new case every year.
