I am trying to understand what you saying here but I am at a loss. Maybe you could re write like your talking to your grand father.
sorry gramps

sorry grampsI’ll try again- when there’s a claim of ‘technical issues’ I appreciate and understand it is challenging to develop and produce a vehicle essentially from scratch and would be surprised there weren’t delays…a press release that adds ‘existing financial obligations’ as a reason for delays is troubling to me, especially from a parent company that recently shut production on another vehicle…
Just spitballing here, but if it was that dire why would they have a F1 team on the grid this year? Do you know how much that costs?!?…if you think I’m crazy do a search for ‘health if VW Group’…

…for a bit of perspective VW Group had well over 200 billion euro in revenue in 2024. Their stake in the F1 team is not fully undisclosed but likely less than 1 billion. So, not a deal breaker. Porshce profits tanking, sluggish EV growth, other manufacturers…eh, pulling the plug on some of their ev programs…that’s the kind of data that leads to tabling new projects…Just spitballing here, but if it was that dire why would they have a F1 team on the grid this year? I’m just a half glass full kinda gal and until they announce something I’m just continuing with the same enthusiasm I had from reveal.…for a bit of perspective VW Group had well over 200 billion euro in revenue in 2024. I don't think VAG can compete with Byd on EVs, and with Byd moving into Europe more, VW will have a rough go of it. The US EV landscape isn't pretty, but at least the legacy automaker lobbying is keeping China out for now. @cyure is right though in that the shared vehicle archtitecture between EV and EREV versions will likely allow production of EVs to continue, despite seemingly low demand. With a production capacity of 200k vehicles annually, the 13% EV-only figure means only 26k combined Terra and Traveler units each year. Not a lot, but still profitable if they implement them cleanly. Sharing the assembly line with Audi will likely reduce all numbers a bit once at full capacity, but we'll have to have faith and patience as someone around here says...…for a bit of perspective VW Group had well over 200 billion euro in revenue in 2024. My parents cabins feature this alarm clock as wellFor 3-6 months of the year, that's my wake-up call.

I would recommend choosing words more carefully here. Do not conflate "Scout" with "the company" that has announced profit collapse or a RIF. They are not the same thing.Yah, it really could be nothing more than a realignment of the timing of Scout ambitions given the company's already announced profit collapse and workforce reductions...

bolstering the dealers' argument that Scout isn't truly independent and that they should be able to sell Scouts.
Cool idea. More natural sounds would be great. Or Metallica, or Chris Cornell-I’d be down with those optionsIf Scout is going to do custom (internal) sound easter eggs, I’d love it to be based on the sounds heard in some (all?) of the National Parks and Monuments. I think it would also be fantastic to have the background graphics update based on nearest National Park.
So long as gunmen don’t chase me down in the mall parking lotMaybe an OTA update will activate it.![]()
I have no worries. When next elections happen sentiment will change. Just a shame we are too dumb to care about nature and the environment (now here comes the batteries are terrible rhetoric)I totally get it. I have the same worries myself. I think I would be more worried if they were building let’s say a V6 and an EV. The EREV and EV are much more similar. Deep breath. I know I say faith and patience all the time, but I’m adding something else. Confidence. I have confidence in SM.
