From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

If I get a picture of myself pulling a bass out of the Scout factory pond with my new Scout in the background I would ride that high for a real long time…
Right, I would love to catch a nice rainbow trout, or Chained pickerel. I just need to fix my eye on my rod. Last time I fished I fought a pickerel and it snapped an eye hole. I have to solder it and re-ceramic coated grommet the eye.
I know the feeling, last fishing trip my rod shattered in half like the second cast. Must’ve got damaged at some point cause it was just a regular old cast.
Tilt up wall panels in commercial construction is equivalent of an Amish barn raising. Done in no timeThe grading started a couple months before the official announcement (you can see it previous months updates in background). The supplier buildings are going up quick. Different type of construction as they don’t need to install over head car carriers hanging from the ceiling.
I’d be happy when large mouth bass-or large small mouth bass. Something with a good fight but can put your fingers in to pop hook with finger or pliers. Catch and release would be great in a SM pond

Since the SC Consumer Freedom proposal stalled (search forum for topic) and our legislators weren't eager to help, I propose that each of you that want your pick up experience at Blythewood to express your desire to do so to SC tourism so that maybe that department may be a potential inside advocate. I've already sent them my thoughts about how this could really boost tourism.

Seems to be missing *visible, corded* BEV chargers.
Let’s over-interpret: Scout is going to have induction charging standard and will include one induction charger for the home with every purchase.

I know there will be an owner experience center. Will that be a place we can go before placing our orders to get a feel for options or will that be intended for the delivery of the vehicles after they are built?
Just my opinion, but I would suspect it’s going to be like Rivian was. Those first orders may be placed prior to a place like that existing. The father down the line you place a an order the more likely it is there will be multiple experience centers. Rivian has quite a few in major cities now and they always seem to be opening new ones. Scout has spoken of having centers around the country as well.
What I was told at LAAS was Scout is planning on opening up 14 of those centers around the country at the very opening of the assembly building. Sadly if you don’t live near any of these, your place in cue suffers as the folks near a center will get priority. I may have the year wrong, but by 2030 there will be 100 of those centers around the country. To me this is a quick ramp up for sales and manufacturing.
So just to verify, your place in line is also affected by how close you live to the 14 launch locations? I’m hopeful Chicago would be one.
@Jamie@ScoutMotors can we get confirmation. Besides how quickly you place your reservation and if what you order matches what is being produced first is there additional criteria being taken into consideration when determining your place in line? Thanks!
