To me it looks backwards. I think the back should be the front. Can’t say I’m liking that. Looks like a full size hot wheels from the 70’s

It's a Meyers Manx wannabe. $80k. No thanks.Olympian Motors. Funky designs. $80k and FWD only, so I see limited appeal.

Cool channel, and a lot of scout content
Do the work! Gotta pay for that baby somehow….You’re a real one!
Sorry guys, my boss tossed me several projects with no drawings, diagrams, and the deadline is next Friday.
I’m trying to keep up with all that and the forum and it’s currently a struggle.
Yes, and you could buy 3-4 Scouts for the price of this thing.I started watching that, it seems awesome. Airstream came up with a similar concept but I never heard anything since. Love the airstream style, I would love to see that come to fruition. Also would love to see an off road style airstream but that’s for another topic…
For those of you who use solar, what kind of a storage system do you use?Our low Solar Insolation months are December & January. However, last year we squeaked by those months and only ended up with paying $300 for the the entire year. Couldn't be happier with our decision to go Solar.
Federalizing utilities makes me queasy, but I see you point. If we want to see America take the lead again they need to federalize all utilities and dumping billions into new reactors to bring energy costs down.
My 1960 CJ5 was about that width.60 to 70 is really skinny. That’s skinnier than a Wrangler by quite a bit. My son’s Hyundai Venue is 70 inches wide and it’s tiny.
What vehicle is 60 inches wide? Is there anything for comparison?
We have a 24 kWh HomeGrid battery. We also have the Lightning as longer-term backup if necessary. Our baseline use is about 0.9 kW, so a 24 kWh battery can provide us with 24 hours or so, but with no AC and no major cooking. With the Lightning, that's extended to about a week. We can extend that to longer by shutting off a few additional things. We can shorten it by running AC or heat, etc.For those of you who use solar, what kind of a storage system do you use?

Well, a real Meyers Manx EV will set you back $74k so they're in the ballpark:It's a Meyers Manx wannabe. $80k. No thanks.
They sell a version with a radial engine that uses Chevy LS parts. They're both cool.Well, a real Meyers Manx EV will set you back $74k so they're in the ballpark:

That’s an impressive looking system. Why would a person choose HomeGrid over something like Bluetti/Jackery/Ancor Solix , etc.?We have a 24 kWh HomeGrid battery. Yeah, I’m not sure about federalizing it all, but one data point: in my city the electric utility is government run (ie owned by the city) and as a result our power is much cheaper and more reliable than surrounding communities that rely on a big privately run utility. So much so that now our biggest problem is all the companies that want to build data centers here :-/. But it is a good point, with so many different companies and rules to deal with, building a fast charger can take years.Federalizing utilities makes me queasy, but I see you point.
