CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
One thing people often overlook when it comes to ride quality is sidewall height.

Your tires are the largest shock absorber on your vehicle.

If you opt for 20" wheels and 33" tires youll have a harsher ride that the same exact vehicle with 18" wheels and 35" tires.

So that is something I would take into consideration when placing my order.

As Dreamweaver mention there will be an Air Ride option available, and the offroad package is supposed to offer special shock tuning as well.
Ok cool thanks for the info, will note it down, also the wife is in the truck as well and you know how that goes:):):):)

All too well my friend. All too well.

My past 3 offroaders were all body on frame and had air ride suspension setups. One had OME shocks and the others had Dobinsons and Bilstein combos on tires with a lot of sidewall. She never complained about the ride on those. Her Honda Odyssey however rides much harsher on pot hole filled county roads.

I can’t believe it’s been 2 months since Nats already!! Time is flying this year.

I just have to post another Traveler picture. He took so many pictures and we are getting to ones that are very similar, but the Traveler is just so pretty!

When I started this I thought I had a name for my Traveler figured out but seeing them in person now I’m not so sure. 🤔

What percentage of buyers do you think will end up buying in this color because it’s so engrained in us now. It’s just the perfect color

I was one that fell in love with this livery, stripes and all. I have now changed my mind and am looking to build an EV Traveler with the current Terra livery. Both colors are still very high in the color poll.

Same boat. The day it rolled out at the reveal then seeing up close I fell in love with it. My 99.5 pathfinder was a similar shade but different but the Tahitian just calls my name but worried everyone will have it

It’s going to be a lot. People imprinted on it because it was first. Like a baby duck on their mother.

Even my husband who doesn’t like orange/red colors on cars said, are you sure you don’t want that color instead of YELLOW, it’s really nice. 😹

I suspect you are correct. Shame they didn’t launch with a color I don’t like 🤣

Hopefully there will be a few new shiny pennies of color for people to fall in love with when Scout does finally release the color chart. :)
edit: Including a fabulous yellow. BUTTER YELLOW.

My hope is that there’s enough variation with Rallye stripes, roof colors, tire and wheel combos, bumpers, roof racks etc that the Scouts end up like Jeeps that even tho you have a similar color, no two are exactly alike.

Variety is the spice of life. Already seems Scout has plenty of that. They may have some new looks and features very soon.

Same. As long as I can call one of them my own, I'll be happy. Maybe most others will select the typical white, silver, gray or black. I think you and I are far enough apart that we would rarely run into each other.

Okay peeps, I love the little combine graphic on the Harvester door. If I got the Harvester I would want the charging door to not have any added graphic.

However if I get the BEV I think it would be fun to have some sort of graphic on the charger door.

What do we think? Any ideas?
