Hey Lady Scouts!!

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
My advice before you invaid the ladies chat here is run any comments like "Alfalfa and the he man woman haters club but for women" by your daughter or wife before you post.
My apologies. I’ve DM’d with @cyure several times because of one of her posts and we have similar thoughts, interests and humor. She knows it was a joke but I apologize as I guess others wouldn’t have known that.
Should I do it again I’ll note joking or specifically call her out so nobody thinks I’m being an insensitive ass 😀
Again-my apologies @BartMan Terra Total EV

What am I, common street trash? 🥺

Hey, wheel locks are BS, right? Like friendship. 😭😭😭😭😭😉 I just go for GAP insurance during the finance office garbage nonsense. I’ve never needed it, but it seems smart to have it.

I’m very sorry M. My initial faux pa was intended just for @cyure. My apologies to you all even though I know the two of you knew I was joking. 😀

This is pretty cool, hope you don't mind a little more Rivian content with a bad ass Olympian Mountain Bike ambassador. Check out Kate Courtney's insta @kateplusfate . She is now sponsored by Rivian and racing MTB's on the World Cup Tour:

I love it! I hope Scout runs with ideas like this and we see them sponsoring all kinds of athletes. Special Olympic athletes would be really cool too!

Sweet. Maybe my daughter can land an ambassadorship at SM for her archery. Win-win

That’s an excellent idea!
I’ve had a tournament concept for 4 years and have spoken with Jamie about it at length. Having it on their property and experiencing Scouts on top of it would make my concept that much better. The eventual full scale idea is a non human hunger games type event with different scenarios. Archery, other than finals is like watching paint dry but something like archery meets a Red Bull event would change the sport forever. Have the whole thing written out and various groups lined up to help run and support it if SM ends up having interest. Encompasses outdoors, youth and adult sports, environment and outdoor setting. Would touch a lot of buyer demographics and spotlight SM at the same time.

Wow that would be amazing! Were you into archery? How did you daughter get into archery?

I’ve shot a bow 6 times in my life. She tried it at a Disney resort at age 9. Loved it. Came home and 3 weeks after my wife found a coupon for a discovery class at Lancaster Archery that ironically we didn’t know existed nor new was one of the premier facilities in the country and 11 years later she is still competing and still winning and fighting when she doesn’t. The unique thing is the archery world family is very much like the SM forum family-open and always willing to help and offer assistance. Perhaps another reason I like this forum so much

No worries J, I kind of knew you were kidding I just didn't want others to get to " mansplainy" on the women's chat hear.

I can’t take credit for this idea but I liked it. I test drove the Ineos Grenadier and they have a little red button with a bicycle on it on the steering wheel. It’s the “toot” horn. It’s lower volume and shorter so you don’t scare the bicyclists to death. Just thought it was a good idea.
Cyure that is so cool. As an avid cyclist I can't tell you how scary it is when your ripping down steep canyon road and a loud horn goes off or worse a Harley or suped up sports car with glass pacs goes by at 200 decibels. It can be deadly. Love the euros when it comes to being aware of cyclists.
