From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Has there been any official news are potential targets for more “production” final information sharing (i.e., packages, colors, certain specs, confirmed parts etc).
At this point I would guess we are about 33 months from production start (end of ‘27) backing out from that, I’m going to assume we won’t see much until at least Q1 ‘26?

There has not been a lot of info lately on the items you reference. But, you are in the right place to hear anything first.
I really appreciate the communication we get from Scout Motors. It makes the wait not as arduous. This is totally the right place to be.

We will still make individual topics for significant news and major milestones, but having a topic like this is fun to read the buzz, see the comments, and generally look back on later on from a historical perspective.
Normally most car companies don't open up customer channels like this until a concept or the actual vehicle is shown about a year before production. Well, that isn't going to work for us. We want to take all of you along for the ride - a longer road trip so to speak - where we can tell some great stories, share major news and milestones, talk about the features and things you want to see, watch a few good movies, and genuinely get excited about our destination.
It is all about the road less traveled and the journey along the way.

It has been the second Thursday of quite a few months. I would say this Thursday the 10th is a good bet.
