From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Yep. But at least the Scouts are still three or four years away so there's time for things to return to sanity.
Sadly with out all this “nonsense”, the US would become bankrupt and we would be bought by China. And Scout would probably be bought by Geely. And that would be worse, Communism and Scout being Chinese.
But, everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

Whats the patches quality, don’t lie just because its the official forum lol.
Great, I had no doubts. The Scout Supply store has limited items but they seem to be really curating their items to ensure quality. I like that the patch is recycled material and woman and vet owned. And as the mom of an Eagle Scout I know the Scout Law and Motto. I am as trustworthy as they come.
I have the rectangular sticker on my fishing hook box.
I might grab a few patches for each tackle sub box. And then the shipping will be reasonable.

What about driving shoes? I have a pair of Piloti driving shoes and I love them. I started wearing driving shoes on long drives and now I can’t do a long drive without them. Lots of brands like Ferrari have branded driving shoes. It would be great if we could get SM branded driving shoes.
Just to add to your thought...Scout's need robust, trail, waterproof, etc type shoes or boots. I like driving shoes too...in my BMW. But, for Scout, a cool partnership would be Danner. They make awesome shoes and boots and many are made in the USA.
I just went and looked at their website and may need to order some shoes. Ha! I think we need both driving shoes and boots/trail shoes. You can never have too many shoes!!
New Balance could also be a good partner on some made in USA shoes. Not USA, but On shoes are very comfortable too.
Driving shoes? I usually just wear whatever's on my feet, boots in the winter and shoes in the summer. Scout could partner with Vessi, good Canadian brand!
Oh if you have never experienced driving shoes you need to try them. They are just different and perfect for driving. Anything over 30 minutes I wear them and change shoes when I get to where I am going. Now I can’t drive without them.
Now I have to look up another brand new this could be dangerous for my credit card.
Designed in Canada made in China, Taiwan, Cambodia, and Vietnam. If they were a good Canadian brand wouldn’t they want to manufacture in Canada to strengthen your economy?
Its like Apple designed by apple in California, made everywhere else.
