What will Jamie’s Scout build be

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So we’ve talked a lot about our wants, needs, builds and colors. While not a poll I’m hoping at some point everyone will indicate a model build description for what you think @Jamie@ScoutMotors will build for his own. Go with basics and back end add on and maybe bigger options along with colors on exterior and interior.
Maybe at some point Jamie will realize someone nailed it and SM will send a t-shirt or something to the first person to guess. And work outside the box, doesn’t have to be from what we’ve seen.
And if really inspired AI the exterior so there are visuals

I’m also thinking the folks that have met/spoken with him may have a leg up!

I know you guys are fair - although that Cyure woman has been spreading her pics around the web under different names to get clicks…
She might do anything for another Scout shirt!

She’s a Wylie one alright! And I wouldn’t say fair-I hunted down Jamie’s address and I google earth him every couple days to try and spot his other vehicles so I can systematically narrow down the color 🤣

You guys have one of those. I’ve always said you haven’t lived until you’ve had a stalker. I had a coworker years ago that would drive by every day with her daughter then report on my activity the next day. It’s a bit creepy and uncomfortable.

Yep - there's this guy from Marine City that drives by the Novi facility every time he's close just to get a glimpse of a Scout, it has never panned out I hear... Even so weird he put an EREV plate of his non EREV vehicle - what a poser...

Traveler/BEV

Exterior:
-Pacific Mist
-Ghost Rallye Stripes
-35 inch tires / 18 inch black rims (shown at recent display events)
-running boards/step
-roof rack
-rear tire carrier
-bull bar / winch
-premium lighting pkg

Interior:
-Grey / (muted plaid) colored interior like the Terra (I think) prototype
-carpet delete (all rubber washable flooring)
-cabana or glass roof
-premium sound system
-Internet accessibility
-bench seat
-HUD


I know I'm missing stuff, may I reserve the right to add to this list (or is it once and done?)

I also know I'm probably projecting some of the stuff I want! (oh well)

Reasonable edits are permitted-so long as it is prior to anything stated by Jamie as to his intentions 😀.
Other than the winch that is not far from my build. I want a lighter interior but solid thinking.
