Scout Traveler Debuts in New Pacific Mist Color

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Hey I keep screaming PALE BUTTER YELLOW every chance I get. I’m going to manifest that color if it kills me! So it can’t hurt.
At some point I see @Jamie@ScoutMotors and @CP1@scoutmotors saying just paint the damn scout yellow so we don’t have to see another PBY post 🤣🤣🤣
But to be fair-I suggested it first so -dibs! And I licked the dash in NYC so definitely mine 🤣

Hey I touch the door handle and the tire when it was Tahitian Red. That has to count for something.

For something -sure. But a bunch of us touched it last October at the reveal and got to sign our names on the bottom of it. Only a select few get to do that. But hey-guess you could key your name into the side. I’m sure SM would let you do that. 🤣🤣🤣 🔑

Are you really committed until you’ve made t-shirts and yard signs though?
That is 100% legit question. Did you order your custom PBY license plate yet? Did you tattoo it on your forearm? @Milesm22 brings up a fair question-how committed are you?
I ate a banana today-PBY (my acronym is pale banana yellow). When you start eating a stick of butter everyday-then we’ll know your commitment-and remember-if there isn’t a photo it didn’t happen (same goes for me) 🤣

What are these shirts you speak of??
Not a very good photo. I have three and will see if I can hang them up and shoot them. I used an image from the other forum with the administrator’s permission. I don’t know if he’s our @Jamie@scout motors or not.

I used an online t-shirt place called Rush Order T’s (no affiliation). I uploaded the image and placed it in their editing tool on a shirt, added the text and viola.

Here’s a couple more. I have three, the navy blue one on me is in the wash. The screen printing is pretty good, looks better than the photo.

I forgot to mention that every time I wear these shirts out I get comments like “what is the bumblebee?” “That’s cool!” “Are you getting that or is that your truck?” Response is positive.

As promised, here is the first new color, Pacific Mist, on the Traveler and the first part of the retheme. A few of the details include new Pacific Mist paint in a shade of blue. The original reveal wheels are now black, matching well with the new black roof and black door handles. Also new are concept multi-function roof rails, giving a hint at future roof-mounted accessories.

The design team decided to push the envelope with an interior finished in a Terracotta leather and "denim-inspired" fabric. In person, it looks good with this exterior color. I'll snap some more pictures here in New York and post them later.
