Here is a quick little thing I wrote for my linkedin. Thought it gave some backstory on why this scout and just the scout brand mean so much to me. Enjoy!
Ten years ago, this Scout came into my life and cemented my love for the Scout brand.
Some of my fondest memories are of my dad and me tinkering with it just to take it for a quick drive around the neighborhood. I drove it in high school, and it would always turn heads.
My dad and I always had a vision for what we wanted her to be, and now, after many years, she is finally complete thanks to the help of Riptide 4x4.
I want to show my generation just how cool these vehicles are. I am trying to put the Scout name at the forefront of their minds when they think of a "go anywhere, do anything" vehicle. I may not work for Scout Motors but I believe in what they are building for the future of the Scout.
Anything less is just a car. Scout on everyone!
