Scout Concepts in Scottsdale, Arizona, April 25, 2026

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Hoping for something like that eventually but the sneak peak I got was partial door panels. Gas cans were cool on Bronco but for an EV based vehicle a gas cans may not be ideal. But hanging door panels like sides of beef in a cool set up would be an awesome way to see the colors
Rivian used shapes, scout could use farm or nature shapes. Or could do some old style scout rims to show off the colors. We could spitball ideas for how to show them off all day, but the issue is when will scout actually announce the Gen1 colors

Plans have settled and we’re 95% sure to be in Scottsdale.

This will be an interesting juxtaposition with the regularly scheduled event, “Vintage Offroad in Scottsdale.”

@Jamie@ScoutMotors, if you leave enough space by the Terra, I can park the Lightning next to it so people get an idea of the comparison. It will be a positive comparison for the Terra; I promise not to wash the truck before coming by. ;)
Honestly though. Scout should do something like that for a small photo session, because everyone thinks the Terra is small just from looking at the media of it

I suspect their lawyers are insisting that they have to be super careful when comparing the Scout vehicles with other manufacturer’s vehicles or specs.

Probably, though it could just as equally have to do with them being concepts, and not a "final product" otherwise I sure scout get a full size truck (de-badged or taped over, like many commercials do) just for the visual. Because in media it looks smaller maybe a midsize Tacoma or Rivian competitor, but taking that visual to parking lot with a Tacoma and and F150 parked next to one another and it stops mentally tracking

@CP1@scoutmotors keeps saying stay tuned everytime someone’s asks lately so what the heck-when are you bringing the Scouts to southern PA, preferably Lancaster county but Philly or Baltimore or northern Delaware would be great too. Thanks 😀
Okay then I’ll chime in too. When I met Jamie in Chicago in December he said they would be coming back to Chicago soon and it would be done right. @Jamie@ScoutMotors any idea when Chicago will be happening?

Adding a vote to this location as well not for my own personal interest but for the people. :sneaky:

Nope-you already got one within 2 hours of your own city and own state. Back of the line 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. And you get Rivians down the road. The poor rest of the country has to fly or drive hours to see them 🤣🤣🤣

See-poor @OleScout cant get one in his state so he’s just graciously looking out for everyone else. Philly is close to NJ and NY, heck, it would take me nearly 2 hours to get there depending where in Philly it lands. I just know Ben Franklin’s been a big part of this EV story and Philly would strengthen that story. I’m OK with Pittsburgh too but I was suggesting Philly because I was looking out for multiple states as a day trip to drive, experience and get back home. It’s for the people
