From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

Realized I never posted this but got a photo of the Scout Key fob from the Autoshow! They had it zip tied into the display board along with a few other items
As a lady I say “rugged” and I love a rugged key fob.
Knew you might have your own take, no negative innuendo intended.
Oh I had no doubt it was not negative. As one of the few ladies who posts on here regularly I never feel out of place and I really appreciate that! This forum is a space for everyone. Men, women, off-road, pavement princess, BEV, EREV. It’s awesome.
That simple orange line is a nice Scout detail. Always love seeing the little details that the design team spends doing
But not all men are rugged. What innuendo are you implying? Perhaps it is a very metro design

I like it, but I do hope scout has options that won’t require it to carried all the time, it’s hard finding clothes with small pockets to reliably store a single key
And we women so many of our pants don’t even have pockets! Don’t ask me why. We all get so excited when a dress or pants have actual pockets.
Anyway, that’s why wear my key on a lanyard around my neck. If I’m going to be somewhere for a while I put the whole thing in my purse, but if it’s a short trip out I just wear my keys around my neck. I would like a Scout lanyard please and thank you.
I’ve seen a bunch of people wear their keys lanyards and I used to have a keychain with a lanyard that I had anchored to my pocket but after having a “keyless” car I don’t carry any keys anymore. I keep a set of emergency keys in my everyday bag which has just been kept in the back of my car but my car key I like to keep hidden so in my jacket I have a small arm pocket with a zipper. My car key is hidden, and no one knows that I have it on me, but I can still get in and out of my car and start it without needing to fumble around and find a key
It’s going to be so different with my Scout. My Jeep still has a key key!
Always wondered why women’s clothing doesn’t offer a small pocket. Just poor planning
