A nice tour with The Benj and Big Decker Energy!
Nice Video. Thanks. I like the homage to the 80 in the Terra's bedside.

I did hear that the Cabana top option is in question.
Cabana roof is still in the works.
I suspect in that case it would stay an Audi option only to keep it as an upgraded luxury item. I just think the take rate is so very minimal for the cost of that feature. I’ve had electronic sunroofs fail (to the point of lemon lawing it back to manufacturer so less moving parts would be nice but the premium I just struggle withI hope the electrochromic roof gets reconsidered, though I realize take rate might be low. Especially on a BEV, just seems more intuitive than mechanical shade, w/ no moving parts, etc. Perhaps it gets developed/offered now that Audi is in the game too?
Just to level set are we talking electric roofs that open. Or the electrochromatic roofs like in a Rivian that are clear and you push a button and they go opaque? I think the OP is talking about a fixed roof that goes opaque and J I think you are taking about a roof that opens but I could be wrong.I suspect in that case it would stay an Audi option only to keep it as an upgraded luxury item. Marketing images of electrochromic glass are misleading.Yeah that's exactly it. I have no desire for a roof that opens in any way, and in a BEV I have no desire for a mechanical shade or other moving parts. So electrochromic would be perfect combo of fixed roof + natural light. Alternative would be steel roof, which would suffice.
But if developed for Audi and dimensions are same/close enough, perhaps Scout might offer it? But yeah, take rate likely very low due to cost.

Beautiful property.Marketing images of electrochromic glass are misleading.
We investigated it for a window in our house. But decided the milky discoloration was not what we wanted. I suppose it might be okay for a vehicle roof.

Welcome to the community. They have not announced the schedule for 2026 yet. If you haven’t already, you may want to give @Jamie@ScoutMotors a follow. He keeps us updated as to where the will be.Will they be at the Cleveland auto show
Welcome and thanks for posting. Schedules haven’t been announced but guessing that will not make the list just based on the venue size. But hoping SM has their event calendar updated soonWill they be at the Cleveland auto show
But maybe Nats again and that’s close to Cleveland. We just don’t know.Welcome and thanks for posting. Schedules haven’t been announced but guessing that will not make the list just based on the venue size. But hoping SM has their event calendar updated soon
On the next concept it would be nice to see things we haven’t seen yet. I’m a glass roof girl, but how about put a solid roof in the next concept with a 33 on an 18”.I’d much rather a solid roof. I can’t tell you how many time I dropped stuff on the roof of my 4Runner loading gear. I’d rather not risk breaking the glass or tearing the ragtop.
Solid metal please, no sunroof
