Scout Color Poll #1

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

I saw this today on my morning walk with the dogs. I just don’t like it and I don’t know what it is (I’m just talking color, I would never buy a Bronco Sport) In theory it has all the things I’m asking for color wise. Two tone, an actual color that’s not black, white or grey. That white stripe down the side. Color is going to be the hardest decision for me. Unless it’s the perfect PBY. Then it will be easy.

It’s their vintage (forget actual name) trim package with basically one of the retro only colors which is supposed to be robins egg blue. Not a fan of I don’t like the yellow they offer either. I have a dark red down the road from us that isn’t bad and I’ve seen @OleScout ’s regular 2-door bronco in the Azure gray with white roof and it is probably the best combo Ford offers. Particularly in the 2-door style

Yeah I don’t like their vintage yellow at all either.

Has there ever been a production of a major car or truck without the color white? I do like this combination.
Great question. I’d be OK if they went cream or pale latte or light greige but I was surprised seeing it in person how good the white looks on it. Still a fan of Porsche’s chalk or the Miata color-porcelain or some name like that-forget what it is called.

Agree. I really like the Grenadier Magic Mushroom and Scottish White. Different than just white white.

This orange?
I don’t know that I see this as orange but it’s an Awesome color. There is some orange, some pink, almost a dark persimmon or fire-orange. No idea what to call it but it’s beautiful and I am not a red car guy (other than Mazda’s red which just shimmers-Mazda has great colors and I’ve never owned one but I respect their color folks).

That color looks more red to me. Mazda has the best red of anyone.

I'm a fan of Kia's Wolf Gray! My last two vehicles have been gray, though, so I'm trying to get myself to branch out with the Scout. I put together this side by side to help me get comfortable with a little bit of color. I'm leaning toward Pacific Mist (labeled as Frosty Blue below).

Join us, everyone needs color in their life!!

Plus the real Pacific Mist looks silver in some light. See.

Everyone is so different when it comes to color. That’s the reason I don’t like it is because it looks silver. 😹
And PBY is not for me! I'm eager to see the spectrum of colors they settle on after all the debate and lobbying in this forum! I like that the International Scout era featured colors, so I think it will be great to see those colors in the modern world. I'm just hoping to embrace it within my own comfort zone and that Pacific Mist certainly helps!

Oh I would hate to be the designers and people in power that make these decisions. No matter what colors they choose someone will be unhappy, and they will be very loud about it on here I’m sure.

All I know for sure is I don’t want white, black or silver. I want a color. If there’s no PBY I’m sure I will be able to find a color that I like. I’m excited to see Silo next weekend. Right now if there were no PBY it’s between Tahitian Red and Silo and after next weekend I will have that narrowed down.

I wonder will they surprise us and have a color that they never showed on the concept as one of the options. That’s would be a nice surprise.
