Scout Color Poll #1

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Dove Blue. That with the black trim accents of the Scout would look amazing (think Cavalry Blue on 4Runner/Tacoma).

These would look really sick with some retro colors to make them really stand out. SO tired of the usual white, silver, black colors we see on pretty much every car on the road now.

A good choice of colors but I'd like more earth/nature tones. Desert Sand, Cactus Grey etc.

When I bought my bronco I felt they had way too many greys and black and white, and not enough variety.

The scountevforum.com has some interesting colors over there. I like:
  • Tamarak Bronze
  • Amethist
  • Sand
  • Elk
  • Buckskin
They got a ton of other colors I assume all just photoshopped onto the press photos.

I wanted to see what the Rallye stripes would look like if they were a little more prominent. The top is the actual red version. The other two are my adjusted versions. Please be kind - my ancient photoshop finally died and I did this in a notes app with a gray highlighter pen.

Also wanted to add the specific for White & Silver matter! There are good ones and boring ones for sure.

I would love a pearl white (I.e Eminent Pearl from Lexus) as well as a WARM silver, almost champagne-y (Sterling Grey from Chevy)

Also, if you could just steal Nori Green for a dark green I’d take it instantly!

We all have our preferences, but mine is for the stripe to be a ghost stripe. One that is subtle and makes you take a second look to make sure it's really there. I like the nod to the heritage Scout II. I think too bold a stripe conflicts with the modern lines of the new Scout. I think less is more. IMO

The Ghost Rallye strip looked incredible, subtle and striking!

I think we need a return of dark reds to the auto industry, it gets left off most automakers palettes. I miss the mid-90s Ford currant red and Mazda merlot….

Will two tone or stripes be an option?
if you go up to my last post on this thread you can see the one example they have given us of the Rallye stripes (it is the first picture - the rest are my modifications of that). So at least that will be available!
