In this era of vehicle wrapping it will come regardless of what the OEM's do. Here in Florida it is very popular. It’s a statement all right. All kidding aside, I do hope we get some “flashy” liveries. That would be really fun.

Indeed. I’ve always liked bright colors and unique designs, so when my wife saw a Stroppe Bronco on the local dealer lot last year and said she liked the paint job I was like oooooh really??In this era of vehicle wrapping it will come regardless of what the OEM's do. I’m hoping the accessory shop they have been talking about has multiple different stripe options. The Scout Encyclopedia shows the OG designs and there are some really cool ones.Indeed. The design looks pretty great too, and I don’t want to go back to full gas engines (bought a mach-e a year ago and love it), so I’m waiting eagerly for this.
While I’m not quite old enough to have Scout nostalgia (and growing up my family was, shall we say, of the sedan persuasion) I do like the rallye stripes and am hopeful that those will be an option to ummm… liven… up the liveryAnd I’m hoping they’ll offer some flexibility on body color, roof/window frame color, and stripe or other decorative element colors so those who want a more unique or vintage look can at least partially achieve it without repainting the entire vehicle. Since I understand if one wants to do off-roading, another main draw for me, a wrap is not the best idea.
I’d absolutely go for a traveler done up in the Baja racing livery (even though they ran the Terra, not the traveler, as far as I’m aware). It’s definitely not something most people would want but I think it’d be pretty cool. I think that would be super cool! They had that truck at Nats. That checker at the end is really cool. And if you got the Tahitian red that was on the Traveler it’s pretty close to that color on the Race Truck!I remember seeing those photos! Such a cool design. I’m especially drawn to the 1976 part since that’s when I was bornI also love the checkered ends of the stripes at the tail, and how it looks like someone said “we don’t need a roof AND a hood.”
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but that brown color could be intriguing. Some more bow colors
Makes sense to me, copper isn’t too far off of brown (and orange and red) and that looks like a coppery brown. That said there are definitely unattractive shades of brown. Like the Ford Pinto station wagon my parents had when I was a kid.I can’t believe I’m saying this, but that brown color could be intriguing.
Scout has done a great job on all fronts with these vehicle. I am from the station-wagon persuasion family.Indeed. Please Scout, no ford pinto brown k thx.
My parents’ favorite story about that pinto was the time when I was 7 or 8 and my dad was sanding some wood in the garage. He went inside, I got hold of the sanding block, and when he came back out I was happily sanding away…on the carHa! My husband learned to drive his parents Pinto. Theirs was that pale blue color.
