Rallye Stripes stickers?

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Hi all. Do we have any idea if the Rallye Stripes are going to be a sticker or decal of some sort? Is it too much to hope that they are painted on?

None of the press photos or show vehicles have had the Rallye Stripes. The photos with them have been done by community members on different forums. At this point I am not even sure it was announced as an option.

Jamie posted pictures before CES of the Traveler with options. Roof rack, Jerrycan and ghost Rallye Stripes. I got this pictures from a @Jamie@ScoutMotors post It’s my understanding there’s some sort of Rallye Stripe option being considered

Good to know. Was not in the press kit I have.

I just went back and looked at the CES video and the Traveler has the ghost Rallye stripes just like you said, I missed that.

No worries. Now the next question I have is, is that a sticker/decal of some sort?

Given there's still just the 1 Traveler show car I doubt they resprayed it just for Rallye stripes, more than likely vinyl with some translucence.
Yes, but when it goes into production. Are these always a vinyl sticker nowadays? Are they never painted? Or does it just depend?

Correct. For this particular update, this was a clear sticker with a smoked semi-translucent Rallye stripe printed on it. I'm sure at the very least we will offer accessories kits with various stripes. Still lots of time to finalize those details. Plus the aftermarket will for sure offer kits.

Thanks as always Jamie.

Has anyone ever put PPF over a sticker like that. I am wondering if that would cause any issues. Like let’s say you did the hood and the front bumper but not the fenders would the stickers look different at all because the ones on the side would not be covered with PPF, but where it went up onto the hood it would?

Thank you for the confirmation

I know you can put PPF over stickers but I would think there would be a minor visual difference because of the film but it’s a great question

I really want Rallye stripes but don’t want to have to PPF my entire Scout so the stripes are consistent all the way down the vehicle.
