From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Welcome to the community. They haven’t shown final colors yet.
They did put ghost Rallye stripes on the Traveler and those were really cool, but that’s all we have seen so far in way of a stripe.

That first one could definitely sway my wallet I love that base color
Nicely done. Not my cup of tea-I like the subtle Ralleye stripes that were on the traveler but it looks good-so to each their own to make their Scout special
Yeah-wasn’t sure at first but every time I look at it I like it. It’s not bright and flashy but it’s a unique color
@CP1@scoutmotors any chance of seeing scout orange brake calipers on the upcoming repaints/remods? Or maybe Scout blue with a stamped orange scout logo?
They’ve implied they are finishing the parts and accessories building so hoping they offer that as well. I assumed with the building and showing the Traveler with stripes there will be some kind of option
There’s been a lot of requests for different shades of green that’s for sure.
Off shade greens are great. My hunch is the Silo green will be the green for a little while at least. Can’t imagine they’ll have capacity for 2 shades of green but avocado in the future would be cool
What if silo green (and the other shifting colors) are just an option for reservations/first round production? I doubt that would be the case but silo green has grown on me and Im not big on green colors
I’m exactly the same so who knows. That new article today talks about modernizing the vintage colors so I’m really interested in what will make it to production and what might be first round colors. Just hope if they do year one colors or say up to X number in a color I hope they are colors I love. Would definitely add some future rarity that way in 25 years when they become vintage again
