List ONE thing you are most ? THANKFUL ? to see that Scout Motors incorporated

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Listing just one is tough!

  1. I've always been a dash guy. I'm thankful for the dash styling, colors and textures. I appreciate the nod to the original Scout II dash, while bringing in a modern touch.

It's like you heard what I was thinking. I have been dreaming of a car that is electric yet I don't have to have range anxiety, can have big tires and a tire on the back and some sort of roof that's panoramic clear or opens and I'm hoping that it's in YELLOW! I am very thankful you are asking for input from the community that is anxiously waiting for these and can't wait to someday get their Scout delivered!

I know this is small potatoes, but I love that someone thought “you know what these need? These need a built-in fold-out table.” As a person who frequently eats in the car and spills stuff, can’t overstate how useful that is. I look forward to this optimistic future with no or at least maybe less tacos landing on the floor. ? As a slob, I thank you.

I've always been a huge proponent and advocate for some kind of a range extender. Out west the range anxiety is real. It truly is and we'll go 6+ hours in the car.

We'll spend DAYS up in the woods camping/hunting. We'll hop off the pavement and drive another 60+ miles, another 2-3 hours on dirt. We'll literally figure on using all our fuel, having multiple fuel cans in order to fill up the tank while out there.

So for US out west, this is a game-changer in the positive sense. SOO happy the Harvester was designed and included.

There really are too many things to pick specifically, so my random pick is the drop-down rear window on the Terra.

I don't care about removable roof and all that, but I'll definitely enjoy the local beach weather with ALL the windows down (while sitting on a bench seat w/ lots of leg room for the family and looking at my gorgeous dash and enjoying 1,000 lb.-ft. of torque between stoplights after I've aired the 35" tires back up w/ the built-in compressor because I used my winch to get someone out of the dunes, and then taking a road trip down the coast via the Harvester w/ my longboards and bikes in the 5.5' bed while pulling a 7k lb. travel trailer) ;)
