Interior improvement

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Hello was wanting to ask a question and make a couple of suggestions for when production becomes a real thing

1. Back seats in the Truck. Can you please have recline option like ram. This will improve overall comfort of the vehicle especially on long trips.

2. Can you do solid paint options and not metallics.

3. Seat colors. I hope there will be more options for majority of color other than drab grey and give up black. These two colors make interior look boring and depressing
Thanks I hope this helps.

1. I was hoping the back seats in the Traveler recline like they do in the new 4Runner.

2. I’m hoping for PBY (pale butter yellow), I hadn’t really thought about what that color would look like as a metallic. I really think we will have a lot of color choices.

3. I’m hopeful we will get more than just black and grey interiors just based on the interiors we have seen so far. I’m confident @aileen.barraza and the CMF team won’t let us down!

1. I didn't even know back seats reclined! It's a whole new world for me. If that's the case, I want them available in both the Tera and Traveler!

2. I'm hoping for some sort of Army Green (Silo Green is close enough), but I have to think they're going to have some colors that aren't metallic. I would think they're going to have your standard colors of white and black and I'm going to guess they aren't metallic.

3. Totally! I don't want just grey, black, or pseudo white. I LOVE the interiors Scout has shown. They are so unique. I can't imagine they won't offer something like that after having shown them but if they don't have them, I'll be monumentally disappointed.

At this point, I'll be disappointed if they even have an all-black interior option. I'm loving the whole modern-take-on-a-1970s-living-room thing they've been doing.

So far none of the interiors have been bland. Are you not enjoying what’s been shown to date?
Welcome!

I can accept a pull back from higher end leather to even synthetics but if the two toned gets pulled I’d be severely disappointed

I like the two tone looks you are doing.
Looking for classic looks. Like tan, cream, brown. Red maybe more of a scarlet color. Rich colors. Just so tired of big car manufacturers with there easy give up color of black and greys. To dark and boring. Scouting heading in right direction just give other options for those of use who have been beaten down with those two easy to rollout on the assembly line colors. Because that’s all it is. Easy and lack of thought. Thanks

I've never been a fan of red interiors, but my Supra has grown on me since it's much closer to brown than Crayola red. If Scout dabbles with red at some point, it'd be a complimentary color to what they've been doing.

I’m not a fan of red interiors because it seems like if a brand does a color it’s red. We get grey, black, red or tan. I’m curious what an interior with blue would look like. Not all blue but some blue.

So far only the Terra has dark and it’s actually a rich color even though it is charcoal and the mix with the brown looks great. The brick stone or whatever they call it (drawing a blank) is more of a dulled red which is amazing in person

Blue and off white would look great. Acura offered a very dark blue for the MDX and it was a gorgeous color. Our new RZ is ultra sure 👍 n a blue gray tone and looks great-could actually use more blue in it

This isn’t red, but definitely in the red family. Is this too boring?
