Interior Concept: Could Scout Interiors Be Inspired by American Landscapes? — Florida Everglades & Cypress Wetlands

One thing I’d love to see Scout explore is interior palettes inspired by specific American landscape design concepts.

I put together one example based on Florida Everglades & ancient bald-cypress wetlands. The idea was to let the landscape itself dictate the colors and materials: pecky cypress, marsh green, Anhinga black, a restrained gold/brass accent inspired by the bird’s bill, and tobacco-colored woven upholstery referencing cypress bark and the warmer tones of the wetland.

Welcome aboard. I like this post and the AI pics. I’m not as big a fan of the gold but a brownish-bronze could be very cool and I’m a sucker for cypress wood. I think there is potential on this concept but I think a bi-annual regional limited edition would be a better approach. Use your idea but make it a limited edition so say over 8-10 years they could release 4 or 5 regionally themed editions because I think that could do well.
I’m thinking of an earthy blue material and off-white/soft gray leather with a barn wood inlay for an east coast/ nautical/seaside theme. Maybe headliner is a sailcloth material with some contrast stitching

That’s a lot of parks. Probably do like 6 regions to allow it to work before a refresh or new redesign happens

But a restart each time model goes through redesign should start the series over. Otherwise I have to buy a new one and I want mine to last forever

But if you love yours it will last forever. That’s what my husband always says. You have to love your vehicle enough that if they redesign it the next year you don’t care, you still love yours. That’s why I had such a hard time finding a replacement for my Wrangler. I didn’t love anything that much.

True. But until I can design and build MY bespoke traveler-it will never be my exact build. But love what they are doing nevertheless and I’m sure I’ll get what I love
