Interior Colors

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

PLEASE have interiors for all trims that are not black or white. Black = scorched ass in the summer. White = impossible to keep clean (especially with dogs). This is a major reason I don’t want a Rivian. Tans, blues, etc. Think comfy but easy to get the dust out . . .

Welcome to the community.

Okay so I keep screaming yellow for the exterior of my Scout. I’m now really starting to think about interior colors. I know I don’t want all black. I’ve been living with all black since 2013. I really do like the two concept interiors. I prefer the tan in the Traveler. It’s the nicest tan I have ever seen, but I would imagine there will be more than just those as choices.

So we can assume they will have black, it seems like every manufacturer does, and the concepts have gotten such great feedback I can’t believe they wouldn’t have something similar to those.

What other colors is everyone looking for?

I like light interiors, my Camaro was tan leather and my Tesla is white interior. As long as they are easy to wipe to keep looking clean of course. I hate the black seats in my wife's Jeep, it gets so hot during summer whereas my white seats never do.

Definitely needs to be easy to clean. And I like the dark flooring in the concepts. Even if the seats are tan, let’s say, let’s keep the flooring black.

And I will say again I am not a fan of carpet. Too hard to clean.

I realize it is an off-road vehicle but an urban inspired interior with white and a slate blue/gray would be nice in my opinion. My accord is gray but it is VERY light gray so it’s appealing but I’d still like a saddle brown with scout colored plain inserts (slate blue/orange/white and maybe a smidge of tan to work with the saddle brown leather bolsters.

Sitting in my buddies Wrangler 4Xe loaner today and really like the dash material. Gray tweed like texture and brushed gold accents and camel tan/gold stitching. I could see something similar in the new Scouts.
