CYURE GOES TO CHICAGO 12/10/2025

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Power folding mirrors are a feature that scout is planning it seems, I see the mirror icon with the arrow facing in which only means one thing, folding mirrors. Four individual window switches! And the mirror selector that doesn’t look like it’s used to adjust the mirrors. So I’m guessing that will be done on the steering wheel or maybe it is built into the toggle and fold switch.

Lots of manual switches

I’d say a bit. I’ve sat in job pick ups and the angle is tough. This is showing a one handed effort but using a keyboard to type would require significant body twist. Having that tray in Scouts makes it much more natural
The tray also is designed to hold a tablet. I love this idea as I once sat in the back of my F-150 and used the massive center console, with my iPad at the far end and a tiny keyboard on the back and edited an entire video while my partner was in the dentist and haven’t been able to work in any vehicle since

They haven't shown us folding mirrors yet. But, I hope it is an option. I appreciate & use daily my auto folding mirrors.

Frunk pull out seat/shelf.

Some pictures of the back door and the window button for those doors.

Interestingly this is my least favorite image of the scouts. The way the leather connects at the top, the pull handle has the extenders that tie into the adjacent metallic trim and are very noticeable. I’m guessing they needed more surface/anchorage areas so hence the extensions but locating the joints right at the handle would look much cleaner. Maybe it’s a prototype thing. The upper lapped leather is what it is and not much you can do but these two pics just expose some of the lesser appealing details inside the car.

Also think that large matte (plastic) panel could have a slight crease or some subtle detail to break up the large mass of non interesting material. Perhaps because it is back seat area they aren’t as concerned. Even a slight depressed dip to mimic the 800 reference on top of the Terra truck bed would add just a little something as well as a touch of shadowing

It’s just boring. Thats the way I describe it.

Okay as much as I like this saw tooth detail around the front grill and as pretty as it is on the door handles these are very tiny grooves that will get lots of dirt and road salt in them. I’m okay with this detail going away. That can be part of the 15% that gets changed in production. Also I don’t think the door handles needs to be piano black. Those are just going to scratch.

But I love the lighting on the handle. That can stay.

Here I am talking like I’m putting in my order. Ha!

Another angle of the door handle.

I’m in @THil08 camp. I like the detailing on the handles and love the lighting. With most the grooves on top I don’t think salt will be any worse than on a non detailed door handle. The lighting is killer. I may or may not have been told this may only survive as part of a lighting package upgrade but wasn’t an official SM statement. I actually like the detail on the handles way more than on the front. The front detail is cool, but from a distance it kinda looks like cheap, gen 1 LED lights that many car companies used where you had hot spots at the diodes and lighter color between and from a distance, this feels that way (think 2012-2015 highlanders, durangos, other Chrysler vehicles). Up close the grill detail is amazing but at dusk/dark you don’t see the cut out detail-you just see the light. All that said I still like it, just a design struggle in my brain

Well a lighting package I could get behind. That I would be willing to pay extra for.

I think that one is the front passenger, that has that strange piece of overlapped leather that has a fillet edge into the next piece. Looks cool but I would rather it be one clean piece. But it might be a real production item. Considering it was on the original Traveler’s interior. And seems to be also on the Terra. It probably has some type of purpose.

And that large plastic piece I’m okay with as long as it’s the more squishy type plastic, similar to a dash board.
