CYURE GOES TO CHICAGO 12/10/2025

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Also for any of you who didn’t see my Nats threads. Here it is. It’s the original concept liveries and my husband took 600 pictures at that event.

I finally have a chance to sit down. It’s been a long day. So the drive up was a little nerve wracking on the way up for a bit. We had some sleet for about 45 minutes but that wasn’t the worst parts. The wind! Oh my goodness it was terrible.

This hotel is right across from the McCormick Center. That’s where they have the auto show in February. The hotel and the Center are connected by a pedestrian bridge.

We got there about 1 and I didn’t see the Traveler. After about 30 minutes I found the man himself. Jamie! He was nice enough to explain what had happened. Apparently there were so many cars parked in front of the hotel the semi couldn’t get down the road to unload the Traveler. They had to get a box truck to meet the semi in a parking lot and move the Traveler from one to the other and then drive back to the hotel to drop it off.

There was a food court right off to the side of the hotel so we got some delicious tacos for lunch while we waited.

I did ask why this hotel on a random Wednesday in December. There’s an event tomorrow night at the hotel. So the Traveler will be put into the service elevator so it can go to the ballroom! If you haven’t seen it in person it’s hard to get an idea of scale. It just blows my mind there’s an elevator big enough for it to fit.

Great to finally meet you in person and I’m truly sorry we didn’t get to spend more time chatting. It was busy all day and we had a great turnout for such a quick turn around opportunity to see the Traveler. We will be back to Chicago to do it right.

On a plane to Detroit now. Get to see all the secret stuff next. 😎

Thank you so much Jamie to you and the team! It was wonderful to meet all of you. I think today was pretty darn “right” as far as I’m concerned.

Fly safe!

Rub it in why don’t you!

Amazing! I met Agent K. I asked her if anyone got out of line if she would take them down. So said oh absolutely. I believe her. Don’t mess with Agent K!
She is awesome. My wife and I still talk about her from NYC. Spent a solid 35 minutes talking to her and wife did even more while I geeked out over the traveler

BTW feel free to sneak something out or get a pic of something we haven’t seen. It’s basically down to 12 days of Christmas so maybe grab 13 items and start a 12-days post. Maybe just super close ups of cool things that don’t give things away 😀

That’s a great idea. I’ll tell my husband so he can start picking out pictures.

Still gotta meet you in person one of these days @Jamie@ScoutMotors !

@cyure loving all the photos! Jealous you have gotten to see them twice! Still kicking myself for not being able to make it to LA Auto Show. Hoping there are closer opportunities to see them in 2026! Would be really great to see them in Central / Northern California. Let’s make it happen in 2026 @Jamie@ScoutMotors ! I will help plan 😉
