Central Florida

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
When are you bringing them to Central Florida to show off?

Don't get your hopes up for a Florida appearance in 2026. They still only have 2 hand-made prototypes, with a possible 3rd becoming available this year. So they have to be very selective about the shows they attend. You can check the Official Events and Appearances forum for a list of shows they attended in 2025. They will likely stick to the same shows until they have production prototypes. We don't expect those prototypes until 2027.

It is frustrating for those of us far from the shows. I would love to see them in person, but the closest show to me was 4 hours away, and that was just the Traveler (I have a Terra reserved). I'm considering heading out to the IH Scout & Trucks Nationals in Springfield Ohio in June, even though that is a 13 hour drive (one way) for me. But that's a big time commitment, so I'm still a "maybe".

I drove 2:1/2 hours and road train for 45 minutes to see in NYC so sometimes you just have to decide if you want to see it. Not very convenient but now I have a cool memory and seeing it next to ground zero in NYC was quite a sight

Having gone to Nationals last year I highly recommend it. Highly! It was a 6 hour drive each way and we stayed two nights. It was well worth it.

It’s not just the new Scouts. They had the first Scout ever made and the last. They had a presentation where we all got to ask our questions. And being there you realize this is not a new vehicle. There’s a huge community behind this with the vintage Scouts and it’s so much fun seeing Scouts in every color of the rainbow.

If anyone hasn’t seen my Nats thread here it is. My husband took over 600
Pictures that day and I included some measurements I took as well.
