My friend had his active headlight replaced on his BMW F10 535i (2014). It was $4500. Crazy.
They are expensive. BMW, must feel bad about teh fogging headlights from years ago. Because they now include headlights in warranty insurance.
Yeah, they were in my old Silverado too... I just replaced the bulb. Was nearly impossible to get to the harness to do it, but cost me $5 bucksThey are in my Jeep. I took it to the dealer because it has a cage that goes over the taillight and I didn’t want to deal with it. $60..
When I changed the headlight in my moms nitro it cost $8 and at least 3 bandaids, and almost cracked my watches screen protector

The pictures you always see of those groups is pretty much a Toyota ad...
Those trucks are called "technicals". You are dead on that is one of the toughest use cases for trucks. The only problem is that getting the terrorists to fill out surveys or sit down in focus groups is pretty tough.
